A pair of coffee cans, English, Staffordshire c 1810. Lavender blue and gilt with a vase and palmetto scroll motif. The edge of one can is slightly flaring and the lavender tone is a little lighter. Still, they are intended as a pair as proved by the gilders mark, which is the same on both cans, three plus one dot. Height "2 ½ / 6.5 cm. Condition: fine.

A porcelain teapot with blue and reddish cornflowers amidst extensive gilding as well as gilding on parts of the lid and the body. 7 inches tall x 9/1/2 inches long x 4 ¾ inches wide.

Condition: no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Very little wear to the gilding.

A pair of Staffordshire waste or slop bowls, c 1820. To one side transfer printed in black with an English mansion in classic style, in the foreground a lake and to gentlemen fishers, to the other side a lady and a small girl in a garden (traces of the same motif to the inside of the bowls). Height "3½/ 8,5 cm and diameter "6/ 15 cm. Condition: wear to the decoration and a hairline to one bowl.

Antique true linen homespun table mat in a deep indigo blue and a natural unbleached white. The mat is 12" square and has just the slightest age discoloration in one corner, see photos. This is a wonderful very early example. Circa 1830

Dimensionsl 4" high x 5.5" diameter of Tray; 9.6 Troy ounces. Chamberstick is in Excellent Condition, but there are a few small dings on the Snuffer (side facing the stick, when mounted).

This magnificent and rare antique Catholic reliquary is a true work of art. Crafted from French ormolu bronze in the 19th century, it is sculpted in the Empire style and features a stunning central oval exposition window. A very early pair of child's shoes hand sewn and pegged and nailed. The shoes are fragile but one is much better than the other. They are early enough that the soles are identical with no difference in right and left shoe. They are 6" long and 3 1/2" tall. circa 1830. These early shoes are hard to find and look wonderful with a textile collection.

A rare and lovely English porcelain compote with a canary yellow ground on the bowl and pedestal, the center of the bowl hand painted with a bouquet of flowers. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Derby 1820. It has a hand painted mark in purple. The saucer is 5 1/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 1 5/8 inches tall with a diameter of 2 7/8 inches. The set is made of fine bone china. There is a group of colorful chickens on the saucer. A Pair of English Porcelain Vases, unmarked, but probably made by Coalport, of Shropshire. Deep Cobalt Blue with Florals on Front and Reverse (four different hand painted panels). Dimensions; 6.25" high x 5.25" at top x 3" at base. Circa 1820-1850 and in excellent condition.

A Magnificent George III Sterling Silver Hot Water Jug by the Noted Silversmith Paul Storr, Hallmarked in London, 1809. A Unique Double Ivory Handle, Emanating from Serpents and ending in an Inverted Swans Head. A Gadrooned Lower Base and a Gadroon and Shell Design on the Shoulder. The number "798" is just next to the Storr Hallmark. Dimensions: 8.5" high, weight 32 standard/ 29.2 Troy ounces. Excellent condition.

A rare and important Danisb Mangleboard with the Royal crowned monogram of Christian the VII, king of Denmark 1766-1808, in relief carving with gilt. The mangleboard is dated to 1802, so the later part of the reign.

A magnificent and extraordinarily rare tole tray depicting the surrender of the French army to the English following the Battle of the Plains of Abraham in 1760. The quality of painting is stunning. The two figures in the foreground represent General James Wolfe (in red) and the Marquis de Montcalm (in blue). Both generals died from their wounds within hours of the end of the battle, but the painter took artistic liberties by presenting them both in apparently good health...

A desirable circa 1830 American tin "tole" box with charming original stenciling of leaf motif on the front, 8 1/2" by 6" by 6", in a rare pink-salmon color. Most of these of course classic folk art pieces are black background with floral motifs painted thereon, in red/green (roses etc.) and some yellow. This color is just spectacular. I'm not a toleware specialist by any means but cannot recall seeing a tinware American box of this color...

A nice pair of Georgian English sterling 5-5/8" sugar tongs with elegant bright cut decoration. These tongs were made by Thomas Wallis and Jonathan Hayne in London, England 1816-17; they weigh 24.5 grams, they have an S over WxM monogram, and they are in excellent original condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs.
