A porcelain (hard paste) baluster form coffee pot decorated with a small bouquet of flowers and a few sprigs on one side and a few sprigs on the other with reddish purple ribbon with flowers around the top of the pot and the outside of the lid. Also on the pot a double band with entwined roses. The lid with a vented knop, which is a feature of silver form New Hall teapots. An elegant and beautiful Derby porcelain figure of "Flora," from the "Antique Seasons" set. Flora (or Spring)stands on a tall plinth, is wearing a diadem of flowers, has gathered her robe in her left hand, and is offering a wreath with her right. The Antique Seasons set was made in 1771, and each has the model number "5" incised in the base. It is described in Peter Bradshaw's book "Derby Porcelain Figures 1750-1848" as being exceedingly rare...

A superb double series opaque twist 5 ring Lynn glass with a 4 ply gauze surrounded by a lace tape. Conical foot with rough pontil. Supposedly, this has a minute foot chip, but I have not been able to find it, despite very careful examination.

The diameter is 9 1/4" and the condition is excellent with no chips, cracks, or restoration. There are 3 very minor small brown spots on the front due to kiln impurities. It is very unusual to find them in this condition...

A pair of porcelain dinner plates with a narrow border of blue dots in gilt ovals encircled by gilt lines, a narrow gilt floral border at the inside of the rim centering a large delicate letter, “N” composed of garlands of hand painted flowers. Both borders are well known on Doccia porcelain and while numerous factories did initials and single letters so did Doccia. The porcelain is typically slightly grey and creamy...

A beautiful English creamware plate decorated with violet swags with green trim along the rim of the plate and the edges of the swags. Aside from being of unusual structure, the violet color is rare, and the presence of a second color extremely rare.

This type ware is often mistakenly referred to as Leeds and featheredge. In reality, many factories other than Leeds made items of this nature, and the type edge here is more properly called a molded edge...

A rare English soft paste porcelain copy of a Ko Imari Kinrande Kikugata Bowl with janome, bulls eye base. This class of porcelain in Japan is usually attributed to the late Edo period, c.1750-1780. This particular bowl is attributed to the Worcester factory in the Marshall Collection at the Ashomolean Museum, but it is now thought that these bowls were manufactured at the Derby factory...

Ann Unusual and Rare Matched Pair of George II Silver Strawberry Dishes, by George Wickes and Hallmarked in London, 1744. With a Scalloped and Fluted Gallery and a Center Armorial. Dimension; 10.125" in diameter x 2.25" high; weight 32.9 Troy ounces total. A few very small dimples and some surface scratches, but otherwise in excellent condition.

A spectacular and rare 18th century Chelsea porcelain teabowl and saucer, each piece very finely and thinly potted and fulsomely painted with exotic birds and insects in landscapes, with a thin reddish-brown edge to the rims. The interior of the bowl has a flower sprig. Examples of this pattern are almost unheard of, and because of the superb technique, the painting was very probably done by Jeffrey Hamet O'Neal or William Duvivier...

A scalloped top coffee cup made by the Richard Chaffers factory in Liverpool. It has a version of the Scarlet Japan pattern with panels of prunus and chrysanthemums separated by orange bands with gilding and reserved with mons. The interior also has three mons in red. The handle is of simple loop form. The cup is 2 1/2 inches tall, and 2 1/8 inches in diameter. The condition is about as close to mint as you can get, with no chips, cracks, scratches, or restoration...
