A rarely seen Dorflinger Kalana Poppy cordial measuring only 3 ½ inches tall. The cordial has vertical ribbing and is perfect.

Two double-handled cake plates with natural flowers surrounded by a border in cobalt blue, cream and gilt. Unmarked, c 1830 and probably by Ridgway. Width "9 ¼ and 9 ¾ / 23.5 and 24.5 cm respectively. Condition: a firing crack to one plate visible from behind, otherwise fine.

A pair of Staffordshire soup plates, transfer printed in blue in the Willow pattern, c 1820 or somewhat earlier, no foot rims and probably Spode. Both pearlware, with variation in thickness and pattern. Diameter "9 ¼ / 23.5 and 24 cm, height of both "1 ½ / 4 cm. Condition: the smaller plate with a nick to the rim (cf. pics).

Sixteen(16) English Cauldon Porcelain Gold Band Dessert or Salad Plates(8" diameter), faceted gold leafy design. Retailed by "C. A. Selzer, Cleveland" in green and pink on the bottom. Some scratch marks on the gold band area, one(1) tight hairline from the rim about 3/4" long, all other plates are in good condition.

Fifteen(15) English Porcelain Gold Band Tea Cups(2 1/4" high) and Saucers(5 3/4" diameter)faceted with gold leafy design in the center. Produced and retailed by "C. A. Selzer, Cleveland" in green and pink, some have impressed mark. Gold rim is somewhat used scratch marks.

Ten creamware dinner plates, transfer printed in puce with a cottage, a farmboy and cattle within a lace border, the outer rim with hand painted vine leaves, also in puce (one vine wreath partly in orange). From Herculaneum in Liverpool c 1810, all with the impressed mark of the pottery as a straight line, in the style of Wedgwood, the name of the pottery also competing with Wedgwood’s Etruria. Diameter "10 / 25.5 cm. Condition: all fine except for a hairline to one of the plates.

This porcelain plaque or charger was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1900. It was painted by the renowned artist Professor Julius Eduard Braunsdorf who was apprenticed at Meissen 1858. Exceptional mourning band of the Regency period, with stripes of black enamel bordered with gold trim sandwiched between chased floral borders. The inscription reads "Mrs. Anne Smith Cunninghame of Caprington died 1st of March 1830." on the inside. The Scottish origin of the name Cunningham of Caprington along with the prefix "Mrs." tells us this ring was made in loving memory of a beloved Scottish wife...

Though the hallmarks show it to be of the Victorian era, this memorial band was made in the Regency style of the earlier part of the century. It is hallmarked for Birmingham, 1863. The words IN MEMORY OF are carved to the outside of the band along with raised religious and mourning imagery including Maltese crosses and fallen leaves. The gold-work is heavily chased. Our keeper ring once had hallmarks but they are worn off, so we are estimating this ring to be from the late 1890's. Our ring has plaited gold work on the underside, a work of art of itself. A "Keeper" ring is a snug fitting ring worn to prevent the loss of a more valuable ring by keeping the larger ring from sliding off. Beautiful New England Glass Company Plated Amberina tumbler. This rare tumbler is 3 3/4 inches tall, 2 3/8 inches in diameter at the base and 2 ½ inch diameter at the top. This nicely colored piece shades from red at the top to pale yellow at the base, cased over a pale cream liner. There are nine vertical ribs on the tumbler, a polished pontil mark and the rim is fire polished.

An unsigned Daum Nancy miniature creamer enamel decorated with fuchsia on a frosted ground. The creamer is 3 inches tall, 3 inches wide and 1 1/4 inch in depth. There is a polished pontil mark and there is no damage.

20084647 A demitasse size sterling silver souvenir spoon by Watson. The handle of the Louisiana state spoon shows the state seal, cotton bales and various plants on the front. The back of the handle shows the state capitol, a creole cottage, and the Jackson Monument. The bowl of the spoon shows the Jackson Statue in New Orleans.

21124692 A very pretty Mount Washington satin finish Burmese jar decorated with daisies. The jar is 3 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter. There is no lid, but otherwise in excellent condition. There are several examples of this piece shown in Wilson’s “Mt. Washington & Pairpoint Glass” volume 1 and Sisk “Mt. Washington Art Glass.”
