Marquis shaped memorialized ring of plaited hair set in 18K yellow gold with the initials LC in gold. The underside of the ring is engraved B.L.C. ob Nov 10 1789 aet 37;. The ring is a size 5 1/2 and due to its small size it was likely worn by the wife of the deceased as a memento while he traveled. The ring measures 1 1/4 at its widest. A wonderful piece honoring love.

Antique marquise shaped 18K gold and chrysoberyl ring is an excellent example of Portuguese jewelry of the late 18th century. The Portuguese mined these gemstones from their colony in Brazil and created jewelry that was typically pave-set as seen here. The ring is size 10 and can be sized to fit.

An English wine glass with a waisted bucket bowl above a single series air twist stem containing twin spiral cables. Conical foot. The height is 6 3/8 inches, the bowl diameter is 2 3/8 inches, and the foot diameter is 2 1/2 inches.

Cream cup, a pot de creme with molded borders and cherry knob, soft paste / pâte tendre, creamy white, made c 1780 in Tournai, then France and now Belgium. Decoration of under-glaze blue flowers in the Ronda pattern. Ronda was the most popular of the Tournai patterns, produced all through the 19th century till 1891 when the manufactory was closed down. Under-glaze blue mark, swords and three little crosses for the second and third Tournai period. Height "3 ¼ / 8 cm. Condition: fine.

A bulbous little pitcher or jug and a small mug, both north Bohemian c 1800 or somewhat earlier. The white Milchglas or Milk glass enameled in the style of Meissen or Sèvres porcelain - often in the “Famille rose” colors seen on this pitcher - was an appreciated export from Bohemia (present Czech Republic). Six footed little cups, tasses à glace / sorbet or ice cream cups in the model used by Sèvres from c 1750 up till around 1800. Because of their sparse decoration the cups go well with more richly decorated porcelain. Slight variation in the gilt and molding of the handles, and in height: four of the cups "2 ½ / 6.3 cm and two 6.5 cm. All probably from around 1780. Marks: LL interlaced - four in over-glaze blue, one in red under crown and with LF and one in gold with HP...

Scarce pottery Jug, Varde in Denmark, ca. 16th.-18th. century AD.

These black-glazed pottery jugs and pots were made from medieval times to 19th. century. This particular jug is one of the finest examples we've seen from the region around Varde that produced the best pottery in Jutland. Finely made with glossy black glaze.

A fine example of an English lead metal antique air twist glass. The ogee bowl is above a multiple spiral air twist (MSAT) stem above a conical foot with a rough pontil.

The condition is excellent, with no chips, scratches, or restoration. Good color, striations, and tooling marks. The height is 6 1/8", with a bowl diameter of 2 1/8" and a foot diameter of 2 1/2".
