This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Meissen before 1920. The diameter of the plate is 10 inches. The plate has a scalloped rim and a deep well. It has the most excellent flower painting. The flowers are bright and realistic. There is a cobalt blue border and fancy gold trim accenting it. The foot ring on the back of the plate has two very minor chips. This plate is first quality and has no other defects.

This is an unusual, wonderful, and beautifully done folk art example of a tinsel or foil painting. The vast majority of tinsel paintings are of flowers. This rarity depicts a bluebird hovering over a basket filled with pears, a melon, and apples. A cluster of cherries, and bunches of grapes and foliage surround the basket. Colors are deep and very vibrant, and include blues, purple, brown, various shades of yellow and green, white, reds, and others...

A very rare and elegant sterling silver fish server in Whiting's fine 1891 "Louis XV" pattern. The blade retains traces of a very light lemony gilding to protect from the saltiness of fish. The back is marked with Whiting's hallmark alond with the patent date. The server remains in its original box crafted of leather and silk. The inside lid is stamped "G. Seifert/Quebec".

A fine Dr. Wall (First Period) Worcester pickle leaf dish in the "Pickle Leaf Vine" pattern, showing flowers and vines within a feuil-de-choix border, and with a workman's mark on the reverse. Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, paint loss, or restoration. The white areas at places along the edge are light reflections. Length 3 1/4", and width 3 1/2".

This are small red boiled wool mittens, hand sewn and 3" long. They are from the 1890-1910. In very good condition and amazing they are still together.

German silver figural dog stirrup cup, ca 1920. Cast bust of spaniel with long snout, resolutely closed mouth, and direct, concentrated gaze as well as floppy ears and thick fur. Mounted to plain and upward tapering bowl. A loyal hunt companion. Marked with maker’s stamp “Föhr” (probably, Eduard Foehr) and old-fashioned “13” (that is, 13/16 loths or 812 silver). Very good condition.

This ceramic vase was produced in what was then known as Bohemia at the Turn-Teplitz factory in 1906-07. The artist is identified as Paul Dachel, shown in plate 514, in the book “House of Amphora”. This vase is 6 1/2 inches high and the diameter is 5 3/4 inches. It has four handles connecting the double gourd shape. There are gilded knobs sprouting around the top. A band of metallic gilding contains large enameled flowers and foliage...

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Maunfactory around 1770. The factory used only the under glaze blue scepter marking at that time. The saucer measures 5 1/2 inches in diameter and is 1 1/2 inches deep. The cup is 2 inches tall and 3 1/8 inches in diameter. Colorful, hand painted Watteau scenes decorate both pieces. 18th century lovers are spending time in the countryside engrossed in conversation...

An English creamware mug probably either Yorkshire or Staffordshire elaborately decorated with a brown body on which is painted in green black and yellow a very stylized house with fences and trees all within a yellow band at the foot and the lip. The squared off handle is also yellow. The shape of the handle leads to the fairly late date. 4 ¾ inches (12 cm) tall and 5 5/8 inches across the handle (14.2 cm).

Condition: no cracks, hairlines or repairs...

Antique 17th century Spain, Valencia or Manises, Large Hispano Moresque copper lustre ceramic deep circular charger, with a banded rim decorated with concentric bands, and scroll-pattern. The center painted with a stylized long-tailed bird among palm motifs, carnations, and scattered flowers. The rim pierced with the hole to facilitate hanging.

A Hispano Moresque ware was a style of initially Islamic pottery created in Muslim Spain by Moorish potters...

An elegant set of 12 sterling silver nut or mint dishes in Gorham's 1900 "Cromwell" pattern. The sides are decorated with an elegant pierced pattern that accents the scrolled rim with shell ends. The dishes are hallmarked by Gorham with the date mark for 1927.

Origin: America, 1927. Condition: excellent, no monograms. Size: 3-7/8" x 2-1/2" x 1-3/16" high. Total Weight: 258.0 grams.

Creamware plate, lobed and moulded, with pierced border of flower heads. Probably made in Staffordshire around 1780. Diameter "8 1/3 / 21 cm. Condition: a few glaze flaws, caused in the fabrication process.

This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by Donath Dresden in the 1890s. It measures 10 1/2 inches long, 7 inches high and 6 inches wide. There are reticulated borders around the edge of the bowl and around the edge of the foot. It is elaborately decorated with brilliantly colored sprays of hand painted flowers. The inside of the bowl is decorated as well. The reticulated borders are outlined with fancy gilding. The rims are trimmed with gold...
