Modern sterling silver porringer with Noah’s Ark motif. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1926. Bellied bowl and solid shaped handle. This porcelain charger was produced in France by Lazeyras, Rosenfeld & Lehman Limoges in the 1890s. It is titled on the back “Dictant Une Lettreâ€, Dictating a Letter, “after Harry Roseland". Harry Herman Roseland (c.1867-1950) was one of the most notable painters of the genre painting school around the turn of the 20th century. An American, Roseland was primarily known for paintings centered on poor African Americans. The charger measures 13 1/2 inches in diameter...

A pine lap desk, in original turkey red with yellow sponged decoration; probably PA; 13" by 11" by 6". Excellent condition.

A nicely proportioned lead wine glass, the ogee bowl with rib molding above a double series opaque twist (DSOT) stem comprised of two spiral threads around a central gauze; conical foot with rough snapped pontil. Perfect condition.

6 1/8" tall, 1 7/8" bowl diameter, 2 11/16" foot diameter.

George II sterling silver salver. Made by Richard Rugg in London in 1755. Round with cast serpentine shell-and-leaf rim and 3 leaf-capped volute scroll supports. Well center has lozenge with engraved interlaced script monogram in leafing and flowering scroll support. Fully marked. Very good condition.

Edwardian Art Nouveau powder jar. Made by Foster & Bailey in Providence, ca 1910. Crystal with curved sides and short inset neck. Cut geometric ornament and stylized flower band; star on underside. Cover sterling silver; top curved with enameled ornament: Pink and blue flowers on radiating white ground bordered by pink guilloche wave ornament. Cover marked. Very good condition.

Circa 1900, a large needlework panel done in petit and gros point of a dog sitting on a stool in front of a window and bordered by various floral panels. Colors are cream and varied tones of reds, browns and tan. In a museum quality antique tiger maple frame with gold gilt liner and a wood panel back, it measures 23 x 26". Embroidery sight size measures 17.5” x 20.5".

This porcelain ewer was produced in Germany by Royal Vienna in the 1870s. It is signed by the artist Dressel. There is a title written in German for each painted scene. It is 15 inches tall, 7 3/4 inches wide and 4 inches deep. The porcelain is quite substantial and heavy. There is a large twisted handle with which to pour wine. The ground color is royal blue. There are two reserves enclosed in ornately gilded cartouches. The scenes on each side are superbly hand painted...

Pair of Staffordshire pottery cake plates with light blue transfer decoration in the Canton or "Willow" theme. Neither plate is marked.

Origin: England, circa 1850. Condition: one plate has a crow's foot visible only from the back; the other has a 1/2" flake on the back of the rim; both have some staining, particularly along the rims. Size: 10" diam.

Pair of Victorian Classical sterling silver candlesticks. Made by Elkington & Co. in Birmingham 1894. Each: Tapering and fluted pillar on raised and square foot. Fluted socket with detachable bobeche on round and stepped foot. Bead, palmette, and leaf borders. Patera ornament. Fully marked. Very good condition with a few minor pings.

Victorian Scottish Mauchlineware Pencil Box Rare mauchline ware pencil box featuring transfers of two different scenes. The lid is decorated with a scene entitled “London Bridge & Cannon St. Station” and the body scene is entitled “Lambeth Palace”. Both transfers are very crisp and detailed. English scenes are much less common than images of Scotland. This piece is also larger than most pieces of mauchlineware.

A Wedgwood Creamware (Queensware) Reticulated Bowl or Basket with a Handpainted Floral and Butterfly Pattern. Wedgwood imprint and Date letters VOH for July 1879. Dimensions of bowl 9" long x 7" wide x 2.75" high. The condition is close to excellent.

A George II Sterling Silver tankard, Hallmarked for London, 1759 with the makers mark of John Payne. It weights 23.7 Troy ounces and is 7.5/8" high. It is of Baluster shape on a circular foot. There is a period armorial engraved on the front (signed) with period initials on handle. Excellent condition.

A beautiful set of twelve Bow porcelain knives, each decorated with flower sprays and a fuzzy caterpillar at the end of the handle.

Knives of this type and date can be found occasionally as singles, pairs, and rarely, as a set of 6. However, this is the first set of 12 that we have seen or encountered in 25 years. Further, many of these other knife handles were originally fitted with base metal knives, which were often replaced, with base metal, over the years...

A rare Clews Jasperware cream jug circa 1815-34. This pre-Victorian English 3-3/4" high milk jug is signed by Clews. Ralph and James Clews (Cobridge, Staffordshire) was in business only from 1815-34; pieces of Jasperware in imitation of Wedgwood were tricky to manufacture and as a result examples by Clews are quite scarce. This buff coloured example has applied bacchanalia scenes, with figures drinking wine and holding grapes. It has a grape-leaf border and a hand-formed spout...

A fine double series opaque twist (DSOT) wine glass with a conical bowl leading into a stem with a central gauze surrounded by two heavy spiral threads. The bowl has molded fluting in the lower three quarters.

The glass is in very good condition with no cracks, hazing, or restoration. There is a tiny shallow chip under the foot rim, which can be discerned at around 1:30 in the last photo...

A beautiful, hand-painted creamer and sugar set in ornate Wilcox quadruple-plated silver holders. Both pieces of glass are decorated with flowers, butterflies, etc. The metallic holders have superb wrap-around decor. The creamer is 5 1/4 inches wide and 4 3/8 inches high, while the sugar container is 4 1/2 inches wide and 4 1/4 inches high.
