This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1884. There are date ciphers indicating this year. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The set is made of fine bone china. It has an intricate decoration in Persian style. The ground color is yellow and there are cobalt blue bands at the rims. Little windows, with birds in them are on both the cup and saucer...

Very fine ornate sterling silver server for either fish or ice cream. The handle is covered with a pattern of hibiscus flowers and swirling foliage. The floral element is echoed in the beautifully engraved floral pattern on the blade. The blade is finished off with a very ornate outline. Many American silversmiths did not mark their names until the early 20th century, and the back is marked only "Sterling."

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Brown, Westhead & Moore in the 1890s. It is a transitional set, just before the company became Cauldon. It was made especially for Gilman and Collamore of New York. The porcelain is extra fine and has molded swirls in the body. The decoration of tiny corn flower garlands is hand painted. Garlands of gilded leaves entwine with the corn flowers creating a delicate pattern. Tiny sprigs dot the outside of the cup...

A nice Bohemian mercury tapered columnar-form mercury glass vase, the sides engraved through a bright red flashing to the silver. The pattern depicts a bird nesting among exotic flower and foliage. The design is accented with applied white lines. The silvering is not in as good condition as one would hope, but the very bright red flashing and the generous size more than makes up for it!

This porcelain bowl was produced in France by Theodore Haviland Limoges around 1900. There is an artist’s signature in the decoration. The bowl has a diameter of 9 inches and is 1 1/2 inches deep. It is expertly hand painted with large colorful roses and foliage. There is a wide band of heavy gilding around the scalloped rim. This is a rare find produced and hand painted from the factory. Condition: Excellent

This crystal glass was produced in Europe in the late 19th century. It was probably made by a Bohemian firm. There is a signature but we were unable to identify the maker. The glass is 8 inches tall and the diameter of the bowl is 2 3/4 inches. It is made of hand blown crystal and the stem is hand cut. The gilded enamel decoration is extremely fine and detailed. It has winged griffins in the design. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain fruit bowl was produced in France by Tressemann & Vogt Limoges in the early 20th century. The porcelain bowl was sold white ware to a studio artist to decorate. It measures 9 1/2 inches in diameter and is 4 1/4 inches high. The rim of the bowl has a slightly scalloped rim with little crimps punctuating it. The quality of the painting on this bowl is very professional with fine technique. There are realistic black raspberries and blossoms on the outside of the bowl...

A William IV sterling silver vinaigrette made by Thomas Shaw of Birmingham, England 1833. Vinaigrettes were used in the 18th and 19th century as a personal hygiene accessory for the moneyed class and were used to carry pleasant oils and attars or vinegars which were absorbed into cloth pads under the pierced gilded grillwork and sniffed so as to cover up the smells of everyday life (when there were open sewers and waste and garbage were tossed from windows onto the sidewalks and streets below)...

This set of 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucers was produced in France by M. Redon Limoges between 1882 and 1896. The saucers have a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cups are 2 1/8 inches high. They are decorated with a factory transfer of bright pink roses and garlands of foliage. The handles and rims are trimmed with gold. Condition: There is barely visible wear to the gilded rims of a couple of the cups. Considering their age, it is very slight.

A sterling silver cherubs brush mirror & comb set 1890 to 1900. This wonderfully ornate Victorian period set consists of the 10" x 3-7/8" mirror, the 9-3/8" x 2-1/2" brush with natural bristles, and the 7-5/8" long comb. Each is hallmarked for Birmingham, England and they have the Thomas Hayes maker's mark; the brush year hallmark is 1890, the comb year hallmark is 1898 and the mirror year hallmark is 1900.
