Turn-of-the-century Classical sterling silver trophy. Made by Whiting in New York. Baluster body with scrolled rim and scroll-bracket side handles. Foot raised with scrolled rim. Body has vertical slash lines and dense and overlapping chased leaves. Handles leaf-wrapped and mounted. Foot has egg-and-dart border and same slashed lines. Foot rim has tooled garland. A hefty, super-sumptuous winner’s cup. Extra strength required for holding aloft...

A fine example of an English porcelain coffee can, made by the Richard Chaffers & Co. manufactory in Liverpool. As to be expected, and as it should be, the soapstone based body resembles that of Worcester.

This particular piece is decorated with a variation of the "Scarlet Japan" pattern, and shows bright colors and careful painting. The condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, restoration, or other problems. The height is 2 1/4" and the diameter is 2 1/8".

A Victorian bisque double shell young boy figural mantle vase from the late 1800s. This 5-1/4" tall figurine is fully hand painted and of top quality - quite like the fineness of Schafer & Vater. It consists of a young boy with a hat seated between two shells. The vase is in a nice greenish/blue colour and it has lots of gold jewelling. It is unsigned except for a painted 74 and a faint impressed underglaze 524 (we think)...

A wonderful idyllic scene of a girl gathering flowers in a hat. Near her is a lake with cows watering, while in the immediate background is another group of cows and a young girl. The far background has trees and a house. The charming naïve style, and the inclusion so many items of interest combine to make this work an exceptional piece.

Substantial silver bangle bracelet with an elliptical border of open cutwork featuring delicate daisies and swirl designs. The delicate openwork border surrounds smaller raised ellipse at center which with a delicate carved composition of a bird and a bee together in flight. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Worcester between 1755 and 1770. It is a First Period product under the ownership of Dr. Wall. It has an open crescent marking. The saucer measures 5 3/8 inches and is 1 1/8 inches deep. The cup is 2 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 3 inches. The porcelain of both pieces is fluted and has scalloped edges. Bands of cobalt blue trim the borders. There are sprays of hand painted flowers scattered around both pieces...

Turn-of-the-century Art Nouveau sterling silver and crystal decanter. Made by Gorham in Providence. Ovoid crystal bowl with cut and engraved ornament: Beaded horse shoe in curvilinear strapwork frame, and stylized thistles. Sterling silver helmet mouth in shaped mount with raised grain heads and entwined tendrils; high-looping reeded handle. Flattened ball stopper with same and short clear glass plug. Silver fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. D1170. Excellent condition.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Coalport in the mid 19th century. It is unmarked, but from the shape of the blank and the type of decoration we can attribute it to Coalport. The plate measures 9 ½ inches in diameter. It has a cobalt blue border that is accented with French enamel. There are sprays of hand painted flowers in bright colors around the center of the plate. A gold medallion is directly in the middle of the plate. There are gilded accents and the rim is trimmed ...
