George III sterling silver mug, London, 1765, with tapering sides and featuring an acanthus leaf capped double scroll handle and a stepped base. Marks rubbed and maker's mark indistinct. No repairs or erasures. Size: 3 3/4 inches ht. X 4 1/4 inches across handle X 3 inches diameter. Condition: minor bruising to sides.

A pair of candlesticks with a dark blue ground decorated with gilt insects and raised beaded rings. Though unmarked this is a color and decoration that was made by Masons from about 1815 to 1825. 8 inches tall and 5 inches diameter at the base. (20 cm tall and 13 cm diameter at base).

Condition: No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs...

A nice Georgian antique wine glass with a round funnel bowl. The stem is a single series opaque twist comprised of a pair of spiral gauzes. Single series twists are much less common than double series twists. Conical foot with snapped pontil.

The glass is in excellent condition, with no problems, displaying good color, striations, and tool marks...

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Franziska Hirsch Dresden studio in the 1890s. The saucer measures 4 1/4 inches in diameter and the cup is 1 1/2 inches high. It is similar to what is known as a 4 o’clock tea size made by the French Limoges companies. The cup has 8 ribbed panels coordinating with the scalloped panels on the saucer. All of the panels are hand painted with vibrantly colored flowers...

DESCRIPTION: An antique Mexican folk art carving of a bearded St. Peter in a bishop’s hat holding a large key, symbolizing the key to the kingdom of heaven entrusted to disciple Simon Peter by Christ. This figure was probably part of a home devotional altar; figure can also be hung on a wall or entry door. Very good condition. DIMENSIONS: 13 1/8” high x 3”wide.

Rare smaller size sterling silver dish ring with slat-pierced sides, pierced foliate scroll work bands, and embossed with laurel leaf swags. In excellent condition, it measures diameter across base 4", diameter across top about 3 1/2", and height 2 3/8". Circa 1900.

A superb and early Dr. Wall Worcester sauce boat, of cos lettuce leaf form. This uncommon example is leaf molded, has a looped stem handle, and is decorated inside and out with scattered flower sprigs and insects, finished with raised fruit near the handle juncture. This is a good example of the remarkable talent behind the wonderful Austrian Bronze handmade, hand painted bronze miniature figurines which were made around the turn of the 20th century in foundries in Austria and Vienna. Austrian bronzes are individually cast from sand molds used only once, then sculpted and cold painted by hand with several coats of a special and secretive type of enamel paint, resulting in very detailed and life like miniature figures...

This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg around 1815. Both pieces are marked with the impressed Nymphenburg shield. The diameter of the saucer is 5 1/8 inches and it is 1 1/4 inches deep. The cup is 3 5/8 inches high and has a diameter of 3 inches. The cup is hand painted with a scene of a maiden spinning yarn. It may have allegorical significance since it is painted in the neoclassical style. The maiden is painted with fine detail and bright coloring...

An impressive example of the breadth of historic resources and techniques that Tiffany mined during the 19th century. Hallmark includes pattern no. 9680 and director’s letter T (1892-1902).
