A Large and Impressive Hand Painted Dutch Delft Vase. Eight reserves; four large ones of a bird and four lesser ones of a stag. Label on the base says "De Oude Moriaans Hoult (The Old Moors Head) Holland Delft (the mark) 1759". This refers to the potters mark, which was first used in 1759 (the Old Moors Head dates from 1648). Dimensions; 16" high, approximately 4.5 pounds in weight. Normal wear for Delft.

This is a stoneware crock, 11 1/2" high and approximately 10 1/2" diameter, natural non-gray color, the "2" cut into the wet clay before it was fired. There are several edge chips, but there is some white paint on one side of the rim that is NOT chips, and it comes off with the fingernail. Note the glaze. I am a fine arts dealer and stoneware is not my area of expertise, so, I hope I am identifying this properly...

Twelve(12) Haviland Limoges Gold Rim Soup Plate, Ca. 1920, 9 1/4" diameter, 1 1/2" high, encrusted Gold Rim, marked "Haviland France" in green and "Rich & Fisher 467 Fifth Ave New York" in red. One small chip under the gold rim, only shows from under, not from top.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Doulton in the late 19th century. The saucer is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. It has a quatrefoil shape. There are cobalt blue panels with raised gold decoration. Garlands of tiny red roses accent this decoration. There is lots of beaded gold trim. The rims and handle are trimmed with gold. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain charger or platter was produced in Germany by Meissen between 1860 and 1880. It has the first quality blue crossed swords marking under the glaze. It is 11 inches in diameter and 2 inches deep. There is a 2 inch reticulated border. The center of the charger has a ring of tiny hand painted flowers in pastel colors. Directly in the center is a delicate medallion that looks like a snow flake...

A beautiful, hand-painted, seven-piece water glass set, made most probably by the Bohemian glass-maker, Carl Hosch, a contemporary of Moser. The set is decorated with typical art nouveau floral motif. The set is in very good condition (there is one nick on one glass and a couple of pin-pricks on another). Polished pontil. The jug is 12 inches (30,5 cm) tall with a base width of 5 1/2 inches (14 cm). Each glass is 8 inches (20,3 cm) tall and has a top-diameter of 2 1/4 inches (5,7 cm).

A Gorham sterling silver miniature chamber stick or candle holder dated 1891. This Victorian era ornate chamberstick stands 1-5/8" high and it measures 3-3/8" across the base. It is stamped with the lion/anchor/G mark, along with STERLING 181 and the year cypher for 1891. Although a dainty size, these small candle holders sat on a writing deak or in a travel writing desk, as they had the practical use of melting sealing wax for an envelope or document. It weighs 41.6 grams...

This porcelain bell was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1890s. It has the authentic underglaze crossed swords marking. The bell measures 4 1/4 inches high and has a diameter of 2 3/4 inches. It is hand painted with the Tischenmuster (table pattern) design. The design is an Asian inspiration. The decoration is very colorful and has abundant gilded accents. A beautifully made and proportioned antique wine glass with a multiple spiral air twist (MSAT) stem. The cup bowl has honeycomb molding, and the stem has shoulder and medial knops. With good weight and tooling, this elegant glass stands tall at 6 1/2 inches, with a 2 9/16 inch bowl diameter and a 3 1/8 inch foot diameter. Conical foot with a rough, snapped pontil.

A fine first-standard (950/1000 pure) silver tastevin, the bottom inset with a silver 5-franc coin from the reign of Louis Philippe. The coin has good detail, the front showing a bust of the king in profile, while the bottom shows a laurel wreath enclosing the words “5 Francs/1846”. The coin is surrounded by repousse decoration of angled godrons, small convex perles and larger concave cupules...

An antique Japanese temple plaque made from one large solid block of Keyaki (Zelkova) wood. Hand carved on both sides. One side depicts ocean waves which represents polar opposite ideas of peaceful tranquility and powerful ferocity. The opposite side features Sunflowers representing warmth and longevity and Chrysanthemums symbolizing immortality.

A superb example of one of the rarest and most sought after types of 18th c English glass, the color twist. The bell bowl sits atop a shoulder knopped stem with a white lace twist outlined in red around a central green thread. A gorgeous and perfect glass. 6 1/2 inches tall.

A beautiful double series opaque twist (DSOT) firing glass of dram size. The ogee bowl leads into a stem containing a central pair of spiral tapes with an 11 ply band outside of them. outside of an inner gauze.

The glass is 3 15/16" inches tall, with a bowl diameter of 2 inches and a foot diameter of 2 5/8 inches. Rough, snapped pontil. Excellent condition with no chips, polishing, or repairs.

An English sweetmeat glass of exceptionally elegant form, the flared cup bowl with moulded flutes on an 8 sided teared Silesian stem with three basal collars above a domed moulded foot. 6 5/8 inches tall, with a bowl diameter of 4 1/8 inches and a foot diameter of 3 1/3 inches. Perfect condition. Rough, snapped pontil.

A very similar glass with a less developed bowl (shown in the last picture), was exhibited at Delomosne and Son as part of the Seton Veitch Collection.

This crystal glass was produced in Europe in the late 19th century. It was probably made by a Bohemian firm. There is a signature but we were unable to identify the maker. The glass is 8 inches tall and the diameter of the bowl is 2 3/4 inches. It is made of hand blown crystal and the stem is hand cut. The gilded enamel decoration is extremely fine and detailed. This porcelain coffee cup and saucer was produced in Vienna in the 1880s. The beehive mark is under the glaze. The saucer has a diameter of 51/2 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. This porcelain plate was produced in England by Brown, Westhead & Moore between the late 1870s and 1880s. It was produced especially for the renowned retailer Wilhelm Graef of New York.
