This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by a Dresden decorator. We believe that it was made by Donath Dresden because it is marked in red and the coloring and style are similar to others we have had. There is an artist’s signature in the lower right corner of the portrait which may be Wagner. The cup is marked Madame Montesson, wife of King Louis the XV. The saucer is 4 inches in diameter. The cup is 1 7/8 inches tall with a diameter of 1 7/8 inches...

Offered is this beautiful, applied-threaded, Czech / Bohemian, ribbed glass fan vase, made most likely by Kralik. The vase is 9 1/2 inches (24 cm) tall, 8 inches (20,5 cm) wide and 2 1/4 inches (5,5 cm) deep. The vase is in very good condition. Polished pontil. Unsigned, except for the, 'Czechoslovakia', mark on its bottom (barely visible in the last picture) - the straight-line 'Czechoslovakia' mark was used by Kralik.

Elegant Victoria sterling silver pin cushion by Gorham. The silver surface is encrusted with repousse decoration of chrysanthemums and forget-me-nots. A rococo reserve is engraved with a period 3-letter monogram. This style of decoration is rather unusual for Gorham. The bottom is fully hallmarked, including the date mark for 1901. The pincushion also retains its original red velvet covering, a rare survivor.

This black doorstop bottle doll has a great embroidered face. The stitches are big and bold and raised. She has on a cream colored dress and a pinafore over the dress. The kerchief around her neck might have been added but the one on her head is original. She is 15" tall and is on what feels to be a double necked bottle. I don't see these bottles often but they do work really well for doorstop doll. She is circa 1890-1900

This is a wonderful pair of sterling silver tablespoons made by the Whiting Manufacturing Co. in the decorative repousse "Berry" Pattern, circa 1880, the front beautifully detailed with blueberry-like berries and leaves; monogrammed on the back with initials A. C., Whiting makers mark, and STERLING; Wt. 2.11 troy oz; Measurement- 6 3/4 inches, Bowl-2 1/4 long; Condition is excellent with minor surface scratches.

A nice Staffordshire inkwell or quill holder in the form of a recumbent deer. The naive painted decoration almost makes it look as if she's wearing a little black hat. The doe is posed on a white base molded as a rocky outcropping. The base is highlighted with a burnished gilt line.

Pair of German silver birds, ca 1920. A rooster and hen with downturned wings and flamboyant flouncy tails. The rooster has a shaggy crown and raised talon and looks down while the hen, who has a small trim crown and scaly wattles, looks up. Cawing beaks suggest a barnyard tiff. Marked. A Royal Worcester blue and green floral design pedestal cake stand with the Worcester year date mark for 1913. This antique 8-1/2" diameter English bone china small cake stand is 1-3/4" tall. The design consists of green flowers with blue leaves and tendrils in a blue traditional Asian square plant-pot. It has an inner border-design, also in green. This is a very interesting piece created by an early artist very skilled in needlework: an oval shaped map of England and Wales and small parts of Ireland, Scotland and France, the oval measuring approximately 19 1/2" by 17" (about 27" by 22 1/2" in the vintage gold frame). Judging from the seated figure of Britannia and the lettering and overall handling, I'd estimate this to date to the late 18th or early 19th century...

Unmarked, but likely Minton, soft paste porcelain covered sauce tureen "Feuille de choux" pattern with a rose finial. These knock-offs of 18th century Sevres were popular from the mid-19th century (c.1850)onward and Minton made many very good ones. A luscious bud vase in the Onion Bulb shape 645, enameled in mulberry and blue. The vase was designed in 1907 by Emma Kinkead. The underside is incised with the logo and name of Van Briggle and Colo Spgs for Colorado Springs. Very good condition with 3 very small glaze specks at the base which are noted in a picture. The vase dates to early 20th C. Dimensions: 3.5" w, 3.25" d, 4.25" h. The vase has very small glaze flakes near the base. Otherwise it is in very good condition.

This extremely rare and very early Derby enameled wine taster is of circular shape with gadrooned sides, and has a pierced scroll handle in puce with the exterior handle ends with applied leaves in green. The exterior has puce foliate sprays, and the interior has a circular central panel edged with black and red lines containing an insect.
