An English Georgian Sterling Toddy or Punch Ladle with a Coin from the Reign of George II in the Center of the Bowl. There is a Half Spiral Twist Baleen (Whalebone) Handle, with a Silver Tip at the End. The Coin is dated 1757, but the Bowl is unmarked, common for such items. Dimension; 14.5" in length. Very Good condition, with some wear on edge of bowl.

Porcelain decanter in the shape of a bellhop, complete with his ring of keys, decorated with overglaze red, black and pink enamels. The bottom is marked "Germany" and also has a decorator's mark.

Origin: Germany, ca. 1920. Condition: Light glaze crazing; a small chip on the cap and three small flakes at the bottom edge are visible in the photos (all could be easily repaired). Size: 9-1/2" tall.

A fine and uncommon toastmaster's baluster type glass featuring a deceptive waisted bucket bowl above a collar. The stem has a medial swelling knop and a basal knop. A wide foot with a rough snapped pontil gives this glass a wonderful stateliness. Great color, striations, and tool marks, with a real heft to the weight. For a virtually identical example see Bickerton, the 1987 edition, item #187...

Nicely decorated with hand painted floral bouquets and sprigs on a hard paste porcelain a trembleuse cup, cover and saucer. The rims are dental gilt as are the fruit and leaves knop and two handles. No marks but French in form and decoration from around 1780. Saucer is 6 ¼ inches (15.5 cm) diameter and 1 ½ inches (4 cm) tall. The cup is 4 inches (10 cm) tall and 5 ½ inches (14 cm) across the double handles.

Condition: No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs...

A Doccia master salt circa 1770; the molded form is a copy of a silver form. The piece is decorated with red enamel flowers with gilt highlights. Doccia was founded circa 1735 near Florence and continues to produce porcelain. Height is approximately 1 ½ inches (3.8 cm). Length is 3 ¼ inches (7.6cm) and width is 2 5/8 inches (5.1 cm).

Condition: Chipped foot with slight discoloration on foot, otherwise nice.

Elaborately handled server by Reed & Barton in the "Love Disarmed" pattern. It has the old hallmarks dating back to 1899. This piece is in excellent condition, the figure on the handle and all of the repousse work are very crisp. Originally an asparagus server, it can be used for so many things. It has lovely piercings on the flat portion, and it shows no wear. It measures approximately 11.25" long and 3.75" at its widest. It weighs 255 grams. It is not monogrammed.

Edwardian Art Nouveau sterling silver picture frame. Made by William Aitken in Birmingham in 1905. Rectangular window in shaped scrolled surround mounted to stained wood with hinged support. Lovely polished coral earrings with enamel bows and seed pearls ensconced in the center if each bow and dangling from each ribbon. The deep rose pink color of our earrings are the most ought after color of coral and are particularly vibrant in tone. A rare high-fired 'flambe' glazed Bretby bowl, by Henry Tooth and Co, made circa 1900 to 1910 - inspired by 17th/18th Century Chinese "peach bloom" and "sacrificial red" glazes. Condition - excellent - no damages or restoration. What appears to be a chip on the rim is, in fact, under glaze. 20cm (8.8inches) diameter. 9.5cm (3.8 inches) high.

Offered is this pair of Mt Washington Burmese glass vases with applied handles in their 'Egyptian' pattern. Each vase is 7 inches tall, 4 1/4 inches wide (handle-tip to handle-tip) and both vases are in excellent condition (mentioned for accuracy: there is a black mark on the inside of one vase, perhaps from the flowers displayed in it - see picture)...

Superb early Gorham lady’s purse, the exterior decorated in the Aesthetic taste. The surface is matte-finished and accented with areas of matte-finished and glossy parcel gilding. Each side features a triangular area of engraving representing what appears to be a bough of olive branches with olives. An English wine featuring a pointed round funnel bowl with a solid base above a short plain stem section above a ball knop topping a four-sided molded pedestal stem. Lead glass. Conical foot with folded rim. Rough pontil.

Fine condition with no issues, standing 5 3/8" tall with a bowl diameter of 2 3/8" and a foot diameter of 2 1/2". Good color and striations...

A late Ming dynasty heavily potted porcelain dish made for export, probably to Sumatra. The decoration is in underglaze blue starting with a thin line around the outer edge, a double ring about a quarter of the way toward the center with grasses growing inward toward a large expressive carp. The style of painting with brush strokes not enclosed by lines is typical of the late Ming and the size and heaviness are typical of the export porcelain to South East Asia...

Rare complete single bag (small saddlebag or large chanteh) from the Luri-Bakhtiyari tribes of West Persia, last quarter of the 19th Century. This rare weaving measures 19.5" by 17" and is in nearly mint condition, with full pile and complete piled closure system, tassels and original side finishes. All dyes are natural, including a great purple and apricot. Nice flatweave back with patterning in weft wrap technique typical of Luri/Bakhtiyari work.

Wonderful figural sterling silver child's spoon especially for Easter. The handle is decorated with two chicks recently hatched from their eggs above the word "Easter" and an Easter lily. Interestingly, the teardrop shape of the bowl is that used in Victorian times for egg spoons. The back is marked by Durgin and also by D. Low of Salem, MA (maker of the famous Salem Witch spoon). Circa 1890. 4.5" long. Excellent condition, including intact gilding on the interiors of the cracked eggs.

Six lovely Victorian sterling silver cocktail forks decorated in a pattern of roses and foliage. The backs are also decorated and are hallmarked with a 4-leaf clover, but I cannot identify the maker. They are also marked "Sterling Pat. '92[1892]". Very nice quality.

This porcelain oyster plate was produced in France by Charles Ahrenfeldt Limoges in the 1890s. It measures 9 inches in diameter. It has 6 wells and a salt compartment in the center. The plate is decorated with factory transfer designs that are colored by hand. There is an assortment of sea creatures accented with flowers. The border and shell compartments are highlighted with brushed-on gilding. Condition: Excellent

Fabulous chunky 18K and diamond-studded lover's knot ring hallmarked London, 1919. Unusual knot ring with three gold diamond-shaped squares superimposed along the knot band and table-cut diamonds embedded securely within the incised stars on each square. The figural knot can be seen on the underside of the ring and is almost as beautiful as the front. The ring is a US size 8 and can be sized.

A thick elaborate silver oklad Icon, early type of 1843, with two saints.

A fine and rare English Georgian period wine glass rinser, beautifully engraved with an armorial crest of a crowned leopard rampant. The rinser is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or other flaws. It has a wide polished pontil and is 3 7/8" tall and 4 7/8" in diameter.
