Bold Victorian cut steel cuff bracelet is an unusual and amazing example of the popular cut steel jewelry of the Victorian era. Cut steel was developed as a substitute for diamonds when the royalty and wealthy traveled to the seasons in Bath and London. The bracelet measures 1 1/2" wide, its interior measures 2 3/4" by 2 1/8".

An elaborate large German wine goblet, the round funnel bowl cut and etched with two winged figures clasping hands over an orb. The inscription on the reverse of the glass reads, in Old German: "unser freundschaft sol bestehn bis wir mit der welt vergehn", which translates to "our friendship shall remain until we leave this world". The beautifully cut stem is of the teared inverted baluster type...

Fayence plate from northern France, c 1800. The well with carnelion, tulip and peony surrounded by some other flowers, all in manganese and yellow. Diameter " 9 ½ / 24 cm. Condition: wobbly base, otherwise fine. The back with spur marks near the rim, a sign of age.

A Fine Pair of Italian Faience Bowls by Ulisse Cantagalli with the Cockerel or Rooster Mark of 1878-1901. Dimensions; 9.5" in diameter 4" high. Some minor wear, but in very fine condition.

An English Georgian Sterling Toddy or Punch Ladle with a Coin from the Reign of George II in the Center of the Bowl. There is a Half Spiral Twist Baleen (Whalebone) Handle, with a Silver Tip at the End. The Coin is dated 1757, but the Bowl is unmarked, common for such items. Dimension; 14.5" in length. Very Good condition, with some wear on edge of bowl.

A beautiful and larger Dutch pewter jug probably for wine, dated mid 18th. century.

Imagine this little guy hopping across your table providing everyone with salt or pepper! He is intricately detailed all the way down to his feet. His head unscrews to refill salt or pepper. An English creamware plate with a molded edge that was exported Holland and decorated there with over glaze enamels. The plate almost certainly depicts the son of William V, Prince of Orange. The sone would become William I of the Netherlands. Born in 1772, he would be the, “Jong Prins” as inscribed in black on the plate. Interestingly the face has been left unfinished. The boy faces an orange tree with fruit on it and a couple of them on the ground...

A Furstenberg hard paste porcelain cup and saucer decorated with bands and sprigs of sepia and black flowers with gilt rims and highlights. Both pieces are marked with an underglaze script F and a number (9). The arched handle is typical of early 19th century tea wares. English George III era Old Sheffield silver plated meat dome cover with robust gadrooned border and removable cast acanthus leaf-form handle. The cover is adorned with a full armorial engraved into a plaque of solid sterling silver which has been let into the cover in order to prevent any underlying copper from showing through the engraved family armorial. This porcelain dish was produced in France by Pouyat Limoges around 1900. It is 9 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches deep. The porcelain is molded into three separate sections with a handle in the center. The decoration is a factory transfer of geraniums and foliage. They flow around the dish in an art nouveau style. There is lacy gold trim and heavy gilding around the rim and on the handle. Condition: Excellent

A complexly decorated Chinese export plate in underglaze blue with overglaze red, orange and gilding depicting scrolling plants, two panels with a house under a flowering tree and an octagonal symbol in the center. Punch sitting, feather pen in hand, looking at the latest issue of his magazine, dated November 1878, his watchful dog Toby by his side. Interestingly, a diamond patent mark is seen under the chair. A 19th century Staffordshire flat back china cottage 1850-60s. It is the flat back type, and measures 4 1/4" high and 3 7/16" across. The colouration is simple - yellow ochre and rust-brown. It is overall in excellent condition for its age except for a small chip on the chimney and wear to the painted decoration. Probably, our finest and surely the heaviest silver icon, we've had for a while! Russian Orthodox icon with an amazing wrought and chisseled Oklad, dating 1871.

This is NOT the usual foliage thin silver sheet oklad but a a heavy thick hammered and chisseled silver oklad in a baroque style with relief heads in each corner and weighing several 100s of grams in .84 silver. Fine gilt to the details. The icon itself with four saints and Christ with halo in the sky.

An exceptional and rare Italian cut and voided velvet panel, probably Genovese, done in a dark green on a beige foundation. The motif features mythological animals and urns, all surrounded by foliate scrolls.
