A medium size porcelain bowl with a lattice impressed border at the top and blue hand painted flowers. On the underside are the three waves and the number two, both hand painted in underglaze blue. A pair of Ironstone plates with Chinese style decoration of a willow tree, a Chinese fence and flowers. With a lobed edge they have an elaborate border between the rim and the center of the plate. The blue is underglaze decoration while the colors and gilding were applied after the glaze. The underside with the Royal Warrant, “STONE CHINA/No. 7.” 8 ¼ inch (21 cm) diameter.

Condition: Neither have chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. One has some gilding wear and slight scratching...

A classic Baccarat cut crystal perfume bottle in a cranberry-cut-to-clear cane pattern. While several American and European companies cut this pattern, the stopper of this bottle is a known Baccarat design. It appeared in a Baccarat pattern book under the name “Stella.” The stopper has a blown teardrop in the interior and is accented with a star pattern at the top. Baccarat products were marked only with a paper label until logo until around 1930.

A delightful early 19th century French silver tastevin featuring a 1770 Louis XV coin and a wonderfully decorated handle. The handle decoration depicts a man seated atop a wine barrel grasping a wine bottle in one hand and a Cupid's arrow in the other. The design is completed with the legend "Vive l'amour et le vin" ("Long live love and wine."). This type of handle was developed in the early 1700s and was used mostly in the Burgundy region...

The group of small porcelain items known as "toys" is composed of scent bottles, bonbonnieres, etuis, and seals. These were produced from the early years of Chelsea through to the Chelsea-Derby period. (The most comprehensive work on these items is "The Chelsea Porcelain Toys", by G.E. Bryant, published in 1925.)

Seals were carried by members of the upper class and used to imprint a uniquely identifiable mark in the wax used to sign or secure documents or letters...

A fine example from the Quadrupeds Series, manufactured, primarily for the American market, by John Hall between 1802 and 1832. This particular piece depicts the pronghorn antelope, with a beaver, otter, coyote, and raccoon in the cartouches at the edge of the plate. Marked on the reverse a printed "Hall Quadrupeds".

The plate is 8" in diameter and is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or restoration, and having the desirable deep blue ripple glaze.

A pair of “King’s pattern” heavy porcelain dinner plates with underglaze blue and overglaze red and gilt decoration. This pattern was an Imari pattern that acquired the “King” name. Both are marked with impressed, “DERBY” under a crown. Both also have red interlaced Ds below a crown. One has the number, “563” below the Ds and the other has a printed mark for the retailer, “John Morlock” of London. These plates are from between 1877 and 1890...

A blue and white hand painted Canton oval serving dish with a rain cloud border under stars and an outward turned rim decorated with lines of rain. The interior with the usual Canton scene including bridge, pagodas, sailboats and islands in the distance. The bottom unglazed and showing good orange peel from the firing. 8 7/8 inches (22.5 cm) long, 6 ¾ inches (17 cm) and 1 ½ inches (4 cm). Circa 1850.

An elaborately painted and gilt cabinet cup and saucer depicting St. Stephan cathedral in Vienna. The painting is delicate and the tiny figures are from the 19th century. The gilding is both flat and raised. The saucer is 5 ¼ inch diameter (13.5cm). The cup is 2 3/8 inches tall (6.5 cm).

Condition: no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. The only wear is very slightly to the raised ovals on the saucer, probably from the base of the cup rubbing there.

A quatrefoil sugar bowl, cover and stand all with floral decoration. The cover with a plum like fruit and leaf finial. Both the stand and the cover have painted dark purple rims. Both the stand and the bowl are marked with incised, “DV”. The stand has no punctuation and the bowl has a period after each letter. The stand is approx. 8 ½ by 7 inches (22 x 18 cm) and the sugar bowl with cover is 4 inches tall, 6 ½ inches long and 5 inched wide (10.5 x 17 x 13 cm).

A wonderful Bow porcelain factory tea bowl painted in the "Jumping Boy" pattern. Although this pattern is occasionally found on Chaffers porcelain, and is not common, it appears to occur even much less frequently on Bow porcelain pieces. The potting is extremely thin and light. The name of the company is impressed in the porcelain and there is a registry mark giving the precise date the cup and saucer was produced. Elaborately handled server by Reed & Barton in the "Love Disarmed" pattern. It has the old hallmarks dating back to 1899. This piece is in excellent condition, the figure on the handle and all of the repousse work are very crisp. Originally an asparagus server, it can be used for so many things. It has lovely piercings on the flat portion, and it shows no wear. It measures approximately 11.25" long and 3.75" at its widest. It weighs 255 grams. It is not monogrammed.

The vases, English from circa 1850, sit on a rococo style attached base with light blue and gilt molded leaves for the base of a fluted and molded vase with a flaring and serrated top rim. The molded flowers are painted in bright enamels. The porcelain is bright white. Both have a sticky label on the underside for the Hackman Collection with the Number,”80” presumably an inventory number. They are 6 inches tall and 4 inches at the widest.

A beautiful Newcastle Light Baluster wine glass. Superbly Dutch engraved, as the best of these are, with the coat of arms of the province of Holland, the pointed round funnel bowl is on a stem with a teared baluster knop above a central annulated knop above a teared inverted baluster knop. Folded conical foot with a rough, snapped pontil.

The glass stands 7" tall, with a bowl diameter of 2 15/16" and a foot diameter of 3". Good color and tool marks, in excellent condition with no chips, cracks...

A beautiful and highly desirable Dr. Wall Worcester salt in the form of a scallop shell, the interior painted with an agitated bird amidst foliage with red berries, the rim shaded with pink, and the whole supported on a raised trefoil base applied with a variety of shells, seaweed, and coral in vibrant colors. An absolutely delightful bronze calling card tray, the center designed with a small frog atop a traditional baroque-style wave. The top edge of the dish has a wonderful scene of four frogs riding big-wheel bicycles along a road. They have quite good balance, as all have their arms crossed. A large and rare antique, circa 1850, French casein tortoise shell casket with bronze ormolu framework featuring a working lock with key. The casein was applied over mahogany or rosewood creating a sturdy chest. Inside is the original silk lining perfectly intact.
