English Victorian cologne bottle, 1880. Cut-glass cylinder with short and threaded inset neck. This fine Ruby Block goblet was made by several manufacturers during the 1880s and beyond. It features hexagonal blocks surrounded by diamond "cuts", but it is pressed glass of course, made in 4 parts, the bowl being fused to the stem.

Known by many names and made by many companies, this goblet is unusual because the top is ruby stained, a reversal of the usual placement. Souvenir of Lewistown, PA is faintly scripted...

A large and impressive cannon for the type from very old collection - the cannon measure 15,2 cm. in height and 8,7 cm. wide at the base. The weight is around 3700 grams!

A pair of unmarked Wave Crest “Daisy” salt shakers. The flat rims of the shakers are decorted with a dainty floral pattern and the undersides of the bases are embossed “Patented June 2 1891." The shakers are perfect and are 2 ½ inches in diameter.

An antique traditional women's folk costume headdress from Bavaria. Made of black silk and embellished with velvet and jet beads. The top of the bonnet decorated with glass beads, sequins, silk and metal threads, and eight attached damask silk ribbons. Checkered cotton lining. Condition: traces of usage and wear, few missing beads and ribbons with few tiny tears and holes, little dusty. Dimension approx.: bonnet c. 14.5 x 16 x 9 cm, length of ribbons: up to c. 79 cm.

Pretty Italian Classical 800 silver keepsake box, ca 1940. Rectangular. Cover flat and hinged with tapering tab. Sides fluted and engraved with flowering and leafing branches. Cover top has heraldic cartouche (vacant) surrounded by leafing scrollwork on stippled ground. Partitioned interior. Marked "800" with stamp for Roberto & Armando Dabbene in Milan. Very good condition.

Late 18th century Portuguese tiered cluster rock crystal ring with 2 concentric rows of bright crystals, each approximately 3mm in diameter, surrounding a larger central stone, approximately 39 stones in all. This substantial ring covers the finger from joint to knuckle. The cut down bezel features a rose gold beaded trim, another feature of rings from the era. The polished rose gold closed back molds ergonomically to the finger...

Substantial 18K antique Victorian snake ring with clever open cutwork on the gold band as shown in the bottom layer, an interesting detail on this handsome snake ring. Snakes were a symbol of eternal love and friendship and were popularized by Queen Victoria during her reign in the 19th century. Set with 3 diamonds, each larger than the next, in a pointed carved etching at the top of the snake's head, our ring is hallmarked London and dates to 1895. The ring is a size 8 ½.

Our antique band ring has a pleasing minimalist vibe with its open cutwork of scrolls carved in platinum and trimmed in an 22K border. This is a simple band that is complex to make and constructed of materials that were highly expensive. Platinum was and is still an extremely strong and durable metal. The ring works beautifully for stacking ring and with gold and silver rings alike. It is as size 8 and is not size-able.

George IV sterling silver and agate fruit set for 12 with 24 pieces. Made by Francis Higgins in London in 1833. This set comprises 12 forks and 12 knives. Tapering rectilinear half-fluted handles in mottled grey and brown agate. Sterling silver blades and 4-tined shanks. Regency Classicism for a special dinner party. Fully marked. Excellent condition.

Japonesque mixed metal on sterling silver bowl. Made by Gorham in Providence in 1883. Curved sides with allover spot hammering and gilt-washed interior overhung with apple branch mounted to exterior. A gnarly growth with irregular fruit and gilt leaves. Also applied birds and butterflies as well as cattails rooted in granulated soil. Three tapering supports. Fully marked with maker’s stamp, date letter, no. 1725, and phrase “Sterling & Other Metals”...

A rarely seen Dorflinger Kalana Poppy cordial measuring only 3 ½ inches tall. The cordial has vertical ribbing and is perfect.

Two double-handled cake plates with natural flowers surrounded by a border in cobalt blue, cream and gilt. Unmarked, c 1830 and probably by Ridgway. Width "9 ¼ and 9 ¾ / 23.5 and 24.5 cm respectively. Condition: a firing crack to one plate visible from behind, otherwise fine.

A pair of Staffordshire soup plates, transfer printed in blue in the Willow pattern, c 1820 or somewhat earlier, no foot rims and probably Spode. Both pearlware, with variation in thickness and pattern. Diameter "9 ¼ / 23.5 and 24 cm, height of both "1 ½ / 4 cm. Condition: the smaller plate with a nick to the rim (cf. pics).

The design of this sitting mat from the oasis of Khotan in East Turkestan is closely related to a larger rug published by Schürmann, which shows the same motif in a design of two compartments. – Many rewoven sections in the pile, restored ends, new overcasting along the sides. Sixteen(16) English Cauldon Porcelain Gold Band Dessert or Salad Plates(8" diameter), faceted gold leafy design. Retailed by "C. A. Selzer, Cleveland" in green and pink on the bottom. Some scratch marks on the gold band area, one(1) tight hairline from the rim about 3/4" long, all other plates are in good condition.

Fifteen(15) English Porcelain Gold Band Tea Cups(2 1/4" high) and Saucers(5 3/4" diameter)faceted with gold leafy design in the center. Produced and retailed by "C. A. Selzer, Cleveland" in green and pink, some have impressed mark. Gold rim is somewhat used scratch marks.

Ten creamware dinner plates, transfer printed in puce with a cottage, a farmboy and cattle within a lace border, the outer rim with hand painted vine leaves, also in puce (one vine wreath partly in orange). From Herculaneum in Liverpool c 1810, all with the impressed mark of the pottery as a straight line, in the style of Wedgwood, the name of the pottery also competing with Wedgwood’s Etruria. Diameter "10 / 25.5 cm. Condition: all fine except for a hairline to one of the plates.

This porcelain plaque or charger was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1900. It was painted by the renowned artist Professor Julius Eduard Braunsdorf who was apprenticed at Meissen 1858. He was a specialist flower painter and art teacher. The plaque is 14 inches in diameter and has a piercing on the foot rim for hanging. The ground color is deep cobalt blue. The brightness of the flowers against the dark blue ground makes a dramatic contrast...
