English Papier Mache Wine Bottle Coaster, Ca. 1820, Regency period, 5 1/4" diameter, 1 7/8" high, with lacquer decorated of Red Oak Leaves and Black Acorns continued outside in the solid Gold background, Red leaves outlined in Black, inside shows some black lacquer crazing but not too bad, bottom still retains old Denim. The Lacquer painted surface shows some wears.

This porcelain dish was produced in Germany by the Helena Wolfsohn Dresden studio in the 1890s. The dish measures 10 3/4 inches long, 7 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches deep. The dish is formed in the shape of a fan. The center of the dish is hand painted with a Watteau scene of lovers dressed in 18th century costume. They are enjoying the pleasures of the garden. The painting is very detailed and colorful. The border has a similarity to designs done at the Sevres factory in France...

A beautiful Spode porcelain plate painted with a variety of motifs. The pattern number is not listed in any of the Spode pattern books, nor have I been able to find examples of the decoration. A reasonable assumption might be that this was produced as a "one-off" sample for a larger service that was not completed.

The decoration on the plate includes an exotic bird, shells and feathers, and fruits, an interesting combination to say the least...

Dating early 20th century is this perfect Moser crackle glass pitcher with opposing sides featuring enameled scenes of a heron in a natural setting. The crackle glass is a champagne color and the the enameling is rich and vibrant, large polished pontil is on bottom. Measures 5 1/2 inches high. A beautiful piece for the collector of Moser or crackle glass.

A fine set of 4 watercolor schoolgirl paintings executed with a very high degree of artistry, probably originally done as bookplates. A set of 4 Chinese Qing dynasty tea bowls and saucers. These antique porcelain blue and white 1-5/8" tall tea bowls or cups and 4-5/8" wide saucers date from 1736-1795. It is possible they are slightly older. This antique Chinese porcelain set has a man on a horse holding a small twig, followed by a servant carrying provisions. Circa 1860, A gorgeous Napoleon style gold gilt bronze hand mirror with beveled glass. Carved in high relief is a tender scene of a young man teaching a maiden to play the flute. A sheep is in the foreground. The scene is surround by 3 bands of enameling: black, white, and deep blue with a gold foliate design. In excellent antique condition, it measures 11.75 inches long x 6.5" across.

A rare comical stoneware lidded jar in the shape of a blowfish by Mark V. Marshall for Doulton Lambeth, circa 1885. This globular vessel stands on three fin feet and the lid has a fin shaped handle. The entire piece is glazed in rich green, white and brown tones. The underside bears an impressed "Doulton Lambeth" mark, signature, and other incised factory marks. In excellent condition, it measures 6.5 inches high and 5.25" diameter.

This is a hand sewn and hand quilted antique doll quilt circa 1850-60. It is random and naïve and very pleasing to the eye. It has been professionally mounted. I love hanging these doll quilts on fronts and backs of doors. (I have run out of wall space!) This one is 16" by 16" and mounted 18" by 18".

Circa early 1800's copper Dutch coal bucket with tight fitting lid and brass claw feet. These canisters were used for remaining hot coals. The lid fit tightly; thus, lacking oxygen the coals were extinguished. Measures about 16.5 inches high. Excellent antique condition.
