Ceramic or porcelain, this is a shallow bowl that might have been used for serving foods, measuring at the extreme dimensions 12 3/4" by 8 3/4" by 2" deep. The central design of flowers is hand painted, as is, I think, the gold decoration. As a paintings specialist this is not within my expertise, so I hope to be describing it correctly...

English dark Brown Transferware Plate, Scalloped Rim, Ca.1900, 8" diameter, marked "British Lake, Stone China, Buttermere" with "Crown" mark on the bottom, two(2) cows and two(2) men and tall mountain in the background, very pleasant design in the center and Flowers and Foliage decorated Rim, the condition is good.

Porcelain Mustache Cup and Saucer, Ca. before 1920, saucer-6" diameter, cup 2 1/4" high, small ledge to stop the hair get wet, Pink Rose painted on the low relief Rose pattern design on the outside the cup and the saucer, within inside the Scalloped edge gold rim, marked "V" in gold on the bottom. The condition is good.

This is a fine Georgian period English tea cup and saucer dish, one of a pair, unmarked, but probably Hilditch ca. 1825. The pedestal cup, with London bone china style handle, is decorated with a simple scrolling border and stylized leaves in shades of aqua and puce; the matching saucer is deeply dished, which is typical of the period. This plate is transfer printed with a shaded pink ground; it has a pseudo Sevres mark and it could be American or European. Englisn Staffordshire Transferware Pottery Plate, Ca. 1850, 9 3/8" diameter, deers and cow resting under the big tree, and Cathedral in the far background, marked "Park Scenery, Phillips, Longport", glaze crackled, some mild stains on the back top area, no damages.

Anglican, Lowther Castle Transferware Plate, Purple color Iron Stone, with a man, cow and other anumals in front of Lowther Castle, Ca. 1850, 8 1/4" diameter, crazing on the glaze, the condition is good.

Eight(8) American Porcelain "K T & T, Knowledge, Taylor & Knowledge" from from "East Liverpool", "Ohio" Dessert Plates, Pre 1900, 8" diameter, with hand painted Bouquets of Flower design, marked "K. T. & T. China." and pattern date and numbers in green on the back. There are some glaze stains on the bottom in some of the plates but front decorated surface shows in good condition.

Pretty late Victorian porcelain child's cup. One side has a polychrome transfer image of a playful dog, while the other shows another dog with a blue ribbon around his neck. The rim and handle are decorated with gilt bands. Porcelain cups such as these were prized by Victorian children. The bottom is marked "Germany".

Origin: Germany, ca 1900. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks, light wear to gilding at rim. Size: 2-3/16" tall.

Lenox Porcelain Gold Rim Soup Plate, Ca. 1920, 8 1/2" diameter, 1 3/8" high, marked "Lenox, Made Expressly for Ovington Bros. New York" in green and 7/J.33 in Gold above green mark. The condition is good. This one(1) soup plate will match with #1405843 below.

An underglaze blue hand painted ”Ronda” pattern soft paste porcelain plate with a deep molded rib border and barbed edge. Though unmarked the painted pattern and the distinctive molding are typical of Tournai. The diameter is 8 inches (20.32 cm).

Condition: No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Some wear and a little associated discoloration.
