This porcelain box was produced in Germany by Meissen in the late 19th century. It has first quality crossed swords on the bottom. The box measures 4 1/2” long, 3” wide and 2 1/2” deep, The lid had a finely hand painted bull finch bir perched in a blue berry branch. The coloring is vibrant and the style realistic. SOLD A Worcester mug with flared sides decorated in transfer printed underglaze blue of sprigs of natural flowers.
