A Staffordshire Sugar and Creamer in the Chinoiserie fashion. There is a design inside the sugar bowl which complements the outer design. There is a design in the lip of the creamer as well as outside the creamer. Note* Picture #4 shows a glass reflection in the inner sugar bowl-this is a reflection of the light when photographing it and not an imperfection. These pieces are in mint condition. Circa 1840-1860.

An oval and domed porcelain plaque with enamelled flowers in a gilt and Bleu Céleste framework. The ”heavenly blue” colour was a speciality for Sevres in the 18th century and revived in the 19th during the reign of Napoléon III. The gilt flower wreath is tooled, to show the texture of the little flower petals, and the large flower motif is excellently painted. The plaque was made in the late 19th century and probably intended for an ormolu wall sconce...

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Ludwigsburg in 1770. The Ludwigsburg factory was formed in 1759 under royal patronage of Duke Carl Eugen and it became one of the leading European porcelain manufacturers between the years 1760 and 1775. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and is 1 1/4 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The clays that were available in the area produced a beige rather than white color porcelain...

Imposing italian porcelain Capo di Monte coffer. Borders, clasp and hinges are made of bronze. Mark on the bottom. The Capo di Monte was established in the mid. 1700's by King Charles of Naples, this explaining the "N" mark above the crown. Circa 1900.

This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Ambrosius Lamm Dresden Studio in the 1880s. The saucer is 5 3/8 inches in diameter. The cup is 3 1/4 inches tall without the handle. The cup features an empire style handle that sweeps up over the rim. The ground color is magenta red. There is a large reserve on the front of the cup containing a hand painted scene. An elegant 18th century couple are strolling in a garden landscape...

A thin band of black and gilt marks the edge of the lip which is decorated with a shaped band of grey, separated from a band of maroon band by thin lines of black and white separated by a slightly thicker band of textured gilding. 2 piece printed and hand colored Mason’s ironstone strainer dish c. 1840 A twelve sided shallow strainer that sits on a twelve sided bowl. The strainer form in delft is sometimes referred to as a cress bowl or a strawberry bowl. It’s possible that this one was meant to hold ice in the bottom as well as catch the water running off the fruit in the strainer. French T&V Tressemanes & Vogt Limoges Porcelain Serving Bowl and matching underplate, Ca. 1907-1919, 2 1/4" high, 5 3/8" diameter top rim for bowl and 7 1/4" diameter, 3/4" high for under plate, hand painted Blueberry design, entire surface is painted except bottom is white glazed with fluted rim, marked "T&V Limoges, France, Depose" in green on the bottom. The condition is good.

The porcelain is fine, white bone china. The saucer is deep and the cup has a handle that sweeps up over the rim of the cup. Very large and impressive brown-glazed Bartmannskrug or Bellarmine Jug, Raeren, Germany c. Late 17th.- early 18th century AD.

The jug with lovely warm brown glaze and a detailed bartmann on the neck and a small ring handle.

A charming and early Derby diminutive basket form sweetmeat, with delightful floral painting by the Cotton Stem Painter. This form, which is uncommon in blue and white, is almost unheard of in polychrome, with virtually no examples having been offered at auction in the last 10 years. An example is shown as illustration 44 in Gillespy's book on Derby Porcelain.

In overall very good condition, with a very old repair to one of the handles...
