This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1878. The date letters in the mark indicate this year. A beautiful, early (C; 1887) Rookwood pottery nut-dish, signed by artist. The dish is 6 inches long, 4 3/8 inches wide and 1 3/8 inches high. It is in good condition (expected age-related crazing). Properly marked on bottom.

Circa 1830-40, English flow blue octagonal ironstone serving platter. The deep dark blue and the flow is as good as it gets. Made by P W and Co.. in Manilla pattern, it measures 16" x 12". Appears never to have been used, excellent condition.

Six little fruit plates and a dish. German Majolica, c 1900, unmarked, with palmettos in light blue surrounding a relief-moulded twig of leaves and apples. The colours are lighter on the dish and three of the plates than on the rest. Diam: "6¼/ 16 cm and "9 1/2/ 24 cm. Condition: wear to the outer rim on two of the plates.

This is a Victorian Staffordshire-style spill vase, of biscuit porcelain shaded to pale green, spill vases were placed on a fireplace mantle to hold spills---the small wood or paper splinters used to obtain light from a fire; modeled as 3 knarled trees joined by leafy branches; surface cracks; 6" high.

Four hand painted blue and white Dutch delft tiles joined with grout on a soft board in the manner in which they would have appeared on a wall. Roughly 10 ¼ x 10 ½ inches (26 x 27 cm). Minor damage at the edges.

Circa 1860 superb French bronze jewelry casket with velvet lining on 4 lion paw feet. With excellent detailing throughout, the lid features a foliate head known as Greenman and is bordered with roses and acanthus leaves. It has a lock on the front but the key is no longer with it. Measures 9.75" long by 5" high and 5.25 inches front to back. Weight about 9 lbs.

Banded mochaware bowl in blue and brown. Very nicely formed, with a crisply shaped foot rim. The rim has one 1" hairline, and there is some discoloration to the interior (note that the discoloration visible near the rim is actually very thick bluish glaze, and not staining), but otherwise the bowl is in very good condition. 6-3/8" diam; 3-1/8" high.

A fine Chelsea porcelain finger bowl stand,with the red anchor mark and stilt marks on the reverse. Beautifully and softly painted with flowers and insects in the Meissen style. 6" in diameter and in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or restoration.

This pair of porcelain plates were produced in England by Cauldon in the 1890s. They were produced especially for Bailey, Banks & Biddle of Philadelphia. The porcelain is fine bone china. They measure 8 3/4” in diameter. The ground color is ruby red, overlaid with tiny gilded flower buds. The heavy gold borders are accented with bright colored flowers in heavy enamel. A rare Chaffers Liverpool porcelain hexagonal beaker, handpainted in blue and white. The design, taken from the Chinese, shows alternating panels of floral groups, with a trellised and floral diaper along the upper rim.

The condition of this piece is excellent, with no cracks or restoration. There is a tiny firing bite at the rim, and the bottom shows kiln bubbling common to this factory. The height is 3" and the diameter is 2 3/8"...

A fine and early Bow porcelain pickle dish with a serrated rim and short stalk, painted in shades of blue with bamboo and peonies issuing from rocks, all surrounded by a low fence. Workman's marks in blue on the underneath.

A wonderful and special Worcester Barr Flight Barr campana vase with snake handles, beautifully painted with a scene marked on the base as "Ruins of Bayham Abbey Church." The reverse of the scene with a salmon ground and having detailed urn and foliage gilding. The rim of the body proper and the top of the supporting column with faux pearls. The bottom also inscribed with "Barr Flight & Barr Worcester Manufac' to Their Majesties."
