Circa 1830-40, English flow blue octagonal ironstone serving platter. The deep dark blue and the flow is as good as it gets. Made by P W and Co.. in Manilla pattern, it measures 16" x 12". Appears never to have been used, excellent condition.

Please note that the right vase does NOT tilt. It is my old mahogany leaf table with gate legs which is the culprit.

These 6 porcelain demitasse cups and saucers were produced in France in the 1890s. They have a spurious Sevres mark but were most likely decorated by a Paris porcelain firm. The saucers have a diameter of 3 3/4 inches and the cups are 2 inches high. The cups have a puffy, blown-out shape. The set is decorated with an elaborate raised gold pattern in two color gold. The interiors of the cups are coated with gold. The rims and handles are gilded. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain two piece stamp box was produced in France by Tressemann & Vogt in the 1890s. The box is 4 1/4 inches long, 2 3/4 inches wide and 3 inches high, including the handle. The box has the artist’s initials on the bottom. The porcelain blank was sold white ware and decorated by a studio artist. There are three compartments inside the box to hold stamps. The ground color shades from mint green to almost white. There are vibrantly colored roses tumbling across the top of the box...

An authentic and vintage Dutch Delft blue and white 9-1/4" plate. This plate has a floriate design and it has the expected blue-tinged underglaze. This unsigned plate is in fair condition with the loss of the glaze around the rim, some minor rim chips, a glued bisected break and a y-shaped crack meeting at the bisected break. The glue is old-style yellow, and this plate is certainly worthy of restoration...

This set of 12 porcelain plates was produced in France by William Guerin Limoges around 1900. The plates measure 11 inches in diameter. They are decorated with opulent raised and beaded gilding. A superb pair of true Arts and Crafts stoneware pottery matched ewers in a rich chocolate brown colour, c1880-1900. The upper shoulders or these 7-5/8" ewers or pitchers are in a glossy glaze, and the lower body has a naturalistic matte glaze over a stippled style textured surface topped with a decorative linked band of semicircles. The glaze didn't quite flow to cover the interiors of the hand made spouts and the bottoms are unglazed...

This set of porcelain luncheon plates was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1901. There are date ciphers that indicate this date. This porcelain cup and saucer was produced in Italy by Caopdimonte between 1740 and 1745. It bears a rare “Fleur de Lis” mark under glaze. The saucer is 5 1/4 inches in diameter and is 1 inch deep. The cup is 2 3/4 inches high with a diameter of 2 3/8 inches. The porcelain is highly translucent with egg shell quality. It has a parchment hue and has imperfections in the glaze. A pair of Staffordshire soup plates, transfer printed in blue in the Willow pattern, c 1820 or somewhat earlier, no foot rims and probably Spode. Both pearlware, with variation in thickness and pattern. Diameter "9 ¼ / 23.5 and 24 cm, height of both "1 ½ / 4 cm. Condition: the smaller plate with a nick to the rim (cf. pics).

Actually, this type ware is often mistakenly referred to as Leeds and featheredge. In reality, many factories other than Leeds made items of this nature, and the type edge here is more properly called a molded edge; elaborate raised tree and floral decoration; 10" diameter. Excellent condition.

Figural majolica tobacco humidor in the form of a ball player. The piece is decorated in beautiful, rich colors under the shiny tin glaze. The base is impressed "10830II" and is also painted with the decorator's mark.

A pair of octagonal dessert plates by Copeland, the edges dented and gilt. Japanised, “Aesthetic” decoration of brambles or blackberries, transfer printed and hand painted with some gilt over part of the withered leaves and berries. Diameter "9/ 22.8 cm. The back with the impressed curved mark used by Copeland from 1860 to 1880, and N80, probably for November 1880. Condition: fine.
