A floral decorated milk jug and floral decorated cover with a rose and leaves finial. The potting of the jug is fairly heavy at the bottom, the decoration of a fairly elaborate boquet and a simpler one on the other side is complimented by the yellow painted rims and decoration on the handle. Vincennes and Sevres had a monopoly on using gilt decoration so that other French factories had to use paint where they might have used gilding. Height approx. 5 ¾ inches...

A wheel thrown transfer printed and hand painted double-handled "Loving" Chamber Pot made as a novelty wedding gift "Marrige Present", circa 1840, in either Sunderland or Staffordshire. A pair of dry drug jars decorated with blue leaves top and bottom and the drug name in the middle, all over a light grayish blue glaze. This form is typical of the 18th century Italian drug jars. The hand throwing on a wheel is evident on the glazed interior of both jars. 7 ¼ inches tall and 4 ¾ inches diameter, (18.5 cm tall, 12 cm diameter).

Condition; Both have chips on the base and roughness from throwing on the mouth. Both have later marking on the base with a magic marker.

A finely painted and gilded "soft-paste" porcelain breakfast size Moustache Cup (right-handed) dedicated to a John P. Small in 1882, possibly a presentation piece. A pottery circular flask with the center of both sides decorated with a purple transfer of a man fishing in a river across from a church. The transfer surrounded by a brown/red raised band then hand painted purple flowers, green leaves, and red buds. The mouth with a beaded edge and neck decorated in the same red/brown. 7 3/8 inches from mouth to bottom, 6 ¾ inches across.

Condition: no chips, cracks or repairs. The green enamel has flaked off in a couple of places...

A Very Fine/Large Celadon Inlaid Cosmetic Box and Cover-13th C.: Korea, Koryo period, 13th Century, It is a quite large circular box with domed cover decorated in inlaid with a double cranes within a double white slip inlaid surrounded by four cranes flying in raining on the cover, the edges in a white slip inlaid with a stylized pattern. It is in fine condition with no damage at all. It measures 9,5cm x 4.5cm or 3 3/4” x 1 3/4”.

A well made 18th century Italian dry drug jar. The body is a red clay covered with white slip then painted in blue with a dentil style pattern at the top and bottom with the name of the drug in the central section. The inside is similarly covered in white slip and shows the ridges from being turned on a potter’s wheel. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Austria in the late 19th century. The beehive marking is under the glaze. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 3/4 inches high.
