This porcelain charger was produced in France by Lazeyras, Rosenfeld & Lehman Limoges in the 1890s. It is titled on the back “Dictant Une Lettreâ€, Dictating a Letter, “after Harry Roseland". Harry Herman Roseland (c.1867-1950) was one of the most notable painters of the genre painting school around the turn of the 20th century. A superb and beautiful Worcester porcelain Scratch Cross period (incised line on the underside of the base) sauce boat moulded with rococo panels and cartouches formed of scrolling motifs. Both sides have a Long Eliza figure in a landscape beside a pine tree, while the interior has precious objects and flower sprays.

This fine example is in overall excellent condition, with no cracks, paint loss or restoration, and with vibrant enamels...

Black-glazed English small teapot with floral decoration in raised enamels, Victorian, c 1850-70. The glaze is named after Jackfield, a town in Shropshire where pottery with a jet black shiny glaze first was produced in the 18th century. No mark except for a brown S (painters mark?) to base. Height including lid "4/ 10 cm. Condition: chips to the inside of lid (cf. pics). A cup and saucer with very similar decoration is offered in another Global Ceramics listing (cf. the last picture).

French Sevres Porcelain Plate, Ca. 1804-1809, 8 1/2" diameter, 3/4" high, hand painted with multiple floral design in the center, and molded low relief Bisque finish wide rim border with Angels holding floral banners repeated design, wrapped around with thin gold rim. Marked "M.JMP je de Sevres" in red on the bottom. The condition is good, thin gold rim is somewhat rubbed off in some area.

These porcelain demitasse cups and saucers were produced in France by Haviland & Co. Limoges in the late 19th century. We are showing 2 sets, one rose colored and one blue. You may purchase one or the pair. The saucers have a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and the cups are 2 1/2 inches high. The fine, thin porcelain has molded ribs and the cups feature ribbon shaped handles. They are decorated with factory transfer designs. Rows of tiny roses or forget-me-nots encircle each piece...

A large copper lustre jug / pitcher, both sides transfer printed with Charity as a mother with children, having pity on yet another child. Sunderland, England c 1830, unmarked. Height "5 ½ / 13.5 cm. Condition: a firing crack visible at the base and a glaze bubble to the Charity image to one side (cf. pics). A smaller Sunderland jug with Hope is presented in another GC offer (cf. last pic).

18 English Mintons Porcelain Bread & Butter Plates, 6 1/4" diameter, 7/8" high, Brilliant etched raised gold rim on wider Cobalt Blue border. "Mintons Est. 1793 England" in purple, "g6262" in red on the bottom include impressed mark, and the condition of gold is in excellent condition.

Early Chinese export Rose Medallion porcelain condiment dish. The details are very finely painted and vibrantly colored. China, ca. 1860's. Excellent condition; the gilding along the top edges is worn away; no chips or cracks. 3-1/8" x 2-3/8" x 11/16".

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced at Meissen around 1800. It has the first quality under glaze blue crossed swords with a star under it. The saucer is 5 3/8 inches in diameter and is 1 1/4 inches deep. The cup is 2 3/4 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/2 inches. the ground color is cobalt blue. The cup has a reserve with a portrait of Abelard and the saucer has a portrait of Heloise...

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by KPM or Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory in the 1890s. The set is marked with the blue scepter underglaze and the red orb with cross overglaze indicating the porcelain and the painting took place at the factory. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/4 inches and the cup is 2 1/8 inches high. The cup has a quatrefoil shape and the saucer has molded ridges that follow the contours of the cup...

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Doulton Burslem in the 1890s. It is made of bone china and has molded decorations and an ornate handle. The decoration is known as “Spanish Lace”. Fine gilding is accented with raised enamel beading and hand painted flowers. The pattern covers the entire surface of both pieces. These 8 plates were produced in England by Coalport in the 1890s. They are named scenes of famous places in the United Kingdom painted by E. Ball. They are 9" in diameter. The borders are cobalt blue. The center of each plate has a reserve containing scenes of ruins of castles and land- scapes of the English countryside. Sky, mountains and water are painted with great skill, in vivid colors. The scenes are framed in ornate raised gilding. Elaborate raised gilding fills the cobalt border...

Twelve(12) Tiffany retailed English Mintons Porcelain Dinner Plates, Ca. 1912-1950, 10 1/4" diameter, Burgundy wine color with encrusted raised Gold border and pale Lemon color wide rim. Marked "Mintons Tiffany & Co. New York, Made in England" on the bottom with raised purple color glove. The condition is good.

This extremely rare and very early Derby enameled wine taster is of circular shape with gadrooned sides, and has a pierced scroll handle in puce with the exterior handle ends with applied leaves in green. The exterior has puce foliate sprays, and the interior has a circular central panel edged with black and red lines containing an insect...

An Oude Loosdrecht plate with a modest bouquet of hand painted flowers in the center of the well, sprigs of flowers here and there, a molded lip with the molding picked out in blue and a gilt edge. Marked on the bottom with the initials M.O.L. with a star and incised with a star, letters and numbers. 9 ¾ inches (24.8 cm) diameter.

Condition: the most serious damage is a visible chip on the rim. There is also a tiny one below the rim...
