A rare pair of Rambervillers Ceramique stoneware vases with characteristic thick metallic lustre glaze and mounted on fitted gilt bronze stands. These items were probably made shorly after the establishment of the Rambervillers pottery, circa 1905-1910, and bear the incised signature of its founder Alphonse Cytere. Condition: excellent - no damages and no repairs or restoration. 26cm (10.25 inches) high.

A German 1820's cabinet cup and saucer with burnished and matte gilt decoration of Karl Friedrich Schinkel’s new theater building in Berlin, inaugurated in 1821 and nowadays concert hall. Inscribed “Das neue Schauspielhaus in Berlin”. Height "4½/ 11 cm. Condition: rubbing to the gilt on the saucer and inside the cup (cf. pics.).

A rare flesh pink glazed earthenware Art Nouveau style vase painted with Narcissus flowers in green, white and yellow enamels. This item was made, circa 1895, by the Riessner Stellmacher and Kessler "Amphora" factory in the Bohemian village of Trnovany. A beautiful, early (C; 1887) Rookwood pottery nut-dish, signed by artist. The dish is 6 inches long, 4 3/8 inches wide and 1 3/8 inches high. It is in good condition (expected age-related crazing). Properly marked on bottom.

A marked Meissen match safe from the late 19th century for those matches that were struck on any rough surface. The rough surface is on the inside of the top. The box is a rectangle with cut corners and curved sides. The outside of the top is stepped with blue bands marking each step to the flat top, the sides of the lower portion curve inward to a low foot. The crossed swords on the bottom in underglaze blue are typical late 19th century...

A superb and beautiful Worcester porcelain Scratch Cross period (incised line on the underside of the base) sauce boat moulded with rococo panels and cartouches formed of scrolling motifs. Both sides have a Long Eliza figure in a landscape beside a pine tree, while the interior has precious objects and flower sprays.

An extremely rare and striking Derby chocolate cup and saucer of very unusual form. The bell-shaped cup has an undulating rim and a flat ear-shaped pierced handle. It is painted in famille verte enamels with leaves and flowers positioned in compartments bordered in an iron red. The saucer is decorated in a similar fashion.

As rare as the cup is, according to several sources the saucer is much more so, and has rarely been offered at auction...

This porcelain vase was produced in France by Sevres around 1900. It is 6 3/4 inches tall. The porcelain is fired with a deep red flambé type coloring that has mottled black shading. This covered porcelain dish or box was produced in France by Tressemann & Vogt Limoges around 1900. The dish has a diameter of 7 inches and is 1 1/2 inches high without the handle. The lid has a ribbon shaped handle. The porcelain was sold white ware and decorated by a studio artist in the United States. It has large, vibrantly colored roses that spill across the lid. The ground color blends from peach to green. There is gold trim on the rim at the bottom...

A soft paste porcelain dinner plate unmarked, but probably Minton. In the “feuille de choux” pattern with hand painted flowers, blue accents and heavy gilding. These knock offs of 18th century Sevres were popular from the mid 19th century (c.1850) onwards and Minton made many of the very good ones. 9 ½ inches (24 cm) diameter.
