A Doulton Lambeth 3-Handled Stoneware Mug or Loving Cup with Tavern Scenes on the Three Panels and with Dog handles (greyhound"). Dimensions 6.5" high x 6.5" across with a 5" diameter mug. Marked Doulton Lambeth, England, with initials "RN" Circa 1895 and in excellent condition.

A scarce little blue and white faiance jug (redware), likely Dutch, 17th. century.

Size: 11,2 cm. tall.

Condition: Choice for the early type, handle possibly reattached, some very thin hairline visible under a glass.

Provenance: The Estate of Carl-Johan Hummeltoft (1958-2020), Birkerød, Denmark. Carl-Johan was a vivid collector and among other areas, he held an impressive collection of early European pottery and metal items.

A Doulton Burslem Hand Painted Cabinet Plate with Three Birds in the Center Reserve. Registration number 97183 for 1888. There is a very slight chip on the edge (visible in the detail photo).

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by Meissen before 1920. The diameter of the plate is 10 inches. The plate has a scalloped rim and a deep well. It has the most excellent flower painting. The flowers are bright and realistic. There is a cobalt blue border and fancy gold trim accenting it. The foot ring on the back of the plate has two very minor chips. This plate is first quality and has no other defects.

A well painted and modeled figure of a kneeling man wearing a black cap and brown coat holding a board with a white cloth covered with fruit. On the underside of the base are the poorly impressed the marks of the Gardner factory in Moscow. A similar figure is pictured in the book Russian Porcelains by Marvin C. Ross. The cup has a ring handle. The set is made of fine, white bone china. It is decorated with cobalt flow blue flowers and leaves, rust red flowers, and embellished with gold.
