This pair of porcelain baskets was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1890s. They measure 10 inches long, 8 inches wide and 3 inches deep. They are made of fine, white, hard paste porcelain that is pierced or reticulated. The rims have molded pearl beading. There are beautifully hand painted floral sprays in the center of the bowl and in medallions on the sides. All of the reticulated designs are outlined in gold, inside and out...

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Hutschenreuther in 1914. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/4 inches. The cup is 1 7/8 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/4 inches. The set has bands of deep, ruby red. Gilded medallions contain bunches of forget-me nots. Lacy gilding overlays the ruby red ground. The rims, handle and interior of the cup are heavily gilded. It has a brilliant, classic style. Condition: Excellent, without defects of any kind.

A Dutch delft polychrome tile, from 1620 to 1650, with a bee resting on the petals of one flower (probably a snake’s head fritillary) with a second blossom on the same plant below it. The petals in blue and orange, also the bee. The leaves are green and the blue stem is growing out of a green bulb on the ground. This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in Austria in the late 19th century. It is unsigned other than some hand painted numbers. The saucer has a diameter of 5 inches and the cup is 2 3/4 inches high. The Japanese-style hand enameling is exquisitely executed. The raised enamel peonies are outlined with gold in an almost tapestry-like fashion. There are bands of gold beading and gold filigree trim just inside the rim of the cup and around the well of the saucer...

A fine matched pair of ceramic recumbent lions of molded construction having maize yellow ware enamel. The careful observer will note that the lions are not a mirror match, but they complement each other and were most likely produced this way.
