This porcelain bowl was produced in the United States by the Pickard Studio between 1903 and 1905. It is signed Shoner for the artist Otto Shoner. The bowl measures 7 1/2 inches in diameter, handles not included. There are “wish-bone” handles on each side of this scalloped and blown out bowl. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1725. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and the cup is 1 3/4 inches high. The decoration of this cup is inspired by the Chinese. The ground color is pale yellow. The cup has two reserves containing hand painted flowers. There are flowers scattered around the saucer. A creamware mug, probably Liverpool, with a black transfer printed scene of a farm cottage with gate and outside the fence two men standing in front of a loaded one-horse cart. The oval transfer surrounded by foliage. Though much creamware was earlier it remained popular into the nineteenth century. 3 ¾ inches tall and 4 3/8 inches across the handle.

Condition: no cracks, hairlines or repairs. Fairly substantial chip that is mostly on the inside of the foot and another minor one on the foot...

An oversized plate (10 ½ inches (26.7 cm) diameter) with a hand painted bouquet of petunias in the center, surrounded by a thick gilt band and the elaborately molded lip with the molding picked out in gold. The printed blue KPM mark on the bottom was used during the years 1847 to 1849. There is also an incised Roman numeral four and possibly the number 14. It was probably used as a serving plate for pastry or cake.

Condition: no chips cracks hairlines or repairs...

A superb and early spread base mug example of the Worcester "Walk in the Garden" pattern. Although Branyan, in his book "Worcester Blue and White Porcelain 1751 - 1790" indicates the date range for this pattern to be 1755 to 1765, the lovely pale grayish-blue color of the decoration and the presence of a scratch cross mark on the base would place manufacture of this mug (or tankard) several years earlier, making this a truly exceptional piece...

A beautiful and well executed Dr. Wall Wall First Period Worcester tankard of rare size and pristine condition. This pattern, named the "Telephone Box", is derived from the Chinese, and is one of those designed specifically for upright pieces. It also is one of the very few patterns that occur both on polychrome and underglaze blue. It features two single figures and two groups of two figures each.
