This porcelain ink well with tray was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the late 19th century. There is an impressed Nymphenburg shield mark on the bottom of the tray. The tray measures 8 3/4 inches long and 6 3/4 inches wide. The ink wells are attached to the tray but have separate lids and inserts. This porcelain coffee cup and saucer was produced in Vienna in the 1880s. The beehive mark is under the glaze. The saucer has a diameter of 51/2 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The ground color is a deep forest green. There is a reserve on the cup with a hand painted scene. It is artist signed “Horan” and the scene is entitled, “Amor am Pranger” or Love Contained. These black-glazed pottery jugs and pots were made from medieval times to 19th. century. This particular jug is one of the finest examples we've seen from the region around Varde that produced the best pottery in Jutland. Finely made with glossy black glaze.

From our European Porcelain Collection, a very fine Doccia (Italian) tin-glazed, hard paste porcelain teacup and saucer, late 18th century circa 1780-1790, probably Ginori factory, very well-painted with a bucolic landscape of what looks like a country estate executed in puce, with a rich baroque border of gilding against a dark cobalt blue ground. This is a truly splendid high quality set.

A scarce Arts and Crafts American art pottery coffee pot by Clifton Art Pottery of New Jersey. This 6-7/8" tall coffee pot is in the lovely "Crystal Patina" glaze and it dates to the 1902-6 period. It has the stamped Clifton mark and an underglaze 272-30; it is in very good original condition with no chips, crazing, damage or repairs other than the loss of the lid and a tight hairline on the bottom only (not showing on the interior at all)...

A superior example of Staffordshire pottery owing to a couple of factors such as the gorgeous apple green enameling, the generous gilding, and the excellent condition of the creamer. This one is painted with apple green around the body with light yellow reserves of gold framed embellishments, the neck which is decorated with swagging leaves. A Royal Worcester two -handled vase measuring 6 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter. The vase is fully marked with Mark 1 with the date letter W for 1885 and with shape number 1109. There is also an impressed mark with shape 1109 The vase is decorated with three different floral sprays and is in excellent condition.

This set of 8 porcelain dessert plates was produced in Germany by Rosenthal around 1900. They were produced in Rosenthal’s “Dresden Works”. The plates measure 8 ½ inches in diameter. They are intricately hand gilded with raised and beaded gilding and hand painted with vividly colored roses. The design has an art nouveau style. These plates are wonderful for display or use. Hand painted with extensive flowers a pair of porcelain soup plates made in China and decorated for the Western market about 1790. The flowers are carmine with touches of blue and yellow and different shades of green for the leaves. The edges of the plates are glazed brown. This porcelain dish was produced in France by Pouyat Limoges around 1900. It is 9 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches deep. The porcelain is molded into three separate sections with a handle in the center. The decoration is a factory transfer of geraniums and foliage. They flow around the dish in an art nouveau style.
