A Doccia master salt circa 1770; the molded form is a copy of a silver form. The piece is decorated with red enamel flowers with gilt highlights. Doccia was founded circa 1735 near Florence and continues to produce porcelain. Height is approximately 1 ½ inches (3.8 cm). Length is 3 ¼ inches (7.6cm) and width is 2 5/8 inches (5.1 cm).

Condition: Chipped foot with slight discoloration on foot, otherwise nice.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufacturer, or KPM, in the 1890s. The saucer measures 4 ¼ inches and the cup is 1 ½ inches high. The set is made of fine hard paste porcelain. Both pieces are hand painted with delicate flowers in bright colors. Little sprigs of flowers are scattered about. Lacy gilding trims the borders. A nice Staffordshire inkwell or quill holder in the form of a recumbent deer. The naive painted decoration almost makes it look as if she's wearing a little black hat. The doe is posed on a white base molded as a rocky outcropping. The base is highlighted with a burnished gilt line.

This porcelain butterfly was produced in Thuringia, Germany by the Schwarza-Saalbahn factory around 1900. Similar porcelain objects have been produced by Karl Ens of Volkstedt. The butterfly is 6 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches high. It is made of hard paste porcelain and is decorated with brightly colored high glazed enamels. There is raised enamel beading and gilded accents. French Sevres Porcelain Plate, Ca. 1804-1809, 8 1/2" diameter, 3/4" high, hand painted with multiple floral design in the center, and molded low relief Bisque finish wide rim border with Angels holding floral banners repeated design, wrapped around with thin gold rim. Marked "M.JMP je de Sevres" in red on the bottom. The condition is good, thin gold rim is somewhat rubbed off in some area.

These plates were produced in Germany by KPM Royal Berlin Manufactory before 1920. They are 8 1/2 inches in diameter. The porcelain borders are cut out or reticulated in a lattice type pattern. They are hand painted in the style of Meissen. The flowers are colorful and realistic. You can see the veins in the leaves and the texture of the flower petals. This majolica jardinière was produced in Europe in the late 19th century. There are no identifying marks. The piece is 10 inches high and 9 inches in diameter. It stands on three feet. The body of the jardinière is mottled brown. It has an incredible amount of hand craftsmanship in its manufacture. Leaves are fashioned so that they surround the opening of the jardinière. The rim of the piece is ruffled and crimped. The flowers and leaves on the front are all hand crafted and applied. ...
