A scarce Arts and Crafts American art pottery coffee pot by Clifton Art Pottery of New Jersey. This 6-7/8" tall coffee pot is in the lovely "Crystal Patina" glaze and it dates to the 1902-6 period. It has the stamped Clifton mark and an underglaze 272-30; it is in very good original condition with no chips, crazing, damage or repairs other than the loss of the lid and a tight hairline on the bottom only (not showing on the interior at all)...

Heavy storage jar signed "ME", by Dave the Slave. His fingerprints are on the bottom of the jar and it measures 7" Height, and 5" in width. The Edgefield pottery expert believes that this jar was made by Dave the Slave. This is the shortest poem written by Dave the Slave.

Nice 6” plate in the “Horse Chestnut” pattern by Dedham Pottery. The crackling is very even and the blue has medium intensity. The back has both the ink stamp and the incised rabbit mark.

Origin: America, 1896-1928. Condition: a hairline visible on the back; a few small roughnesses along the edges from plate hangers. Size: 6” diameter.

This porcelain plate was produced in the U.S.A. by Lenox between 1894 and 1906. The plate has a diameter of 9 inches. It was commissioned for the retailer Bailey, Banks & Biddle of Philadelphia. The plate is artist signed W.H. Mosley who was a prominent painter at Lenox. The plate has a soft cream colored ground. The center is hand painted in subtle colors in a rather “Impressionistic” manner. The birds are identified as “Snipe” found in marsh lands...

Lenox Porcelain Demitasse Cup and Saucer, Ca. 1910, Saucer-4 3/4" diameter, 1/2" high, Cup-2 1/4" high, 3 1/4" wide include handle, with etched brilliant gold and cobalt blue rim, green mark "Lenox" on Demitasse cup, "Lenox" "Dulin & Martin, Washington DC" on saucer on the bottom. The condition is good.

A common form of pitcher made by the Tucker factory in Philadelphia around 1830. It is unmarked as is often true for Tucker, but the form is theirs, the decoration typical of their floral work and the gilding similar to other Tuccker pitchers. 9 3/8 inches (24 cm) tall.

Condition; Terrible, dropped, broken, not particularly well re-glued and having a few cracks associated with the breaks. Firing flaw across the handle with an associated crack. Gilding wear on the handle...

I don't know quite how to describe this one, so I will begin somewhere. This is a sort of milk glass plate with ornate edge pattern with cut-outs, 8" in diameter. In the last years of the 19th or early years of the 20th century, someone very meticulously cut pieces and strips from used American postage stamps, utilizing those pieces to create designs like early flags, American eagle, crossed swords, a crescent moon, and six pointed star...

This two piece porcelain bowl with underplate was produced in the United States by Pickard around 1910. The underplate has a diameter of 10 1/8 inches and the bowl is 8 1/8 inches in diameter and 3 1/8 inches high. There is a gold leaf covering the mark from the porcelain manufacturer with the Pickard mark on it. The set is octagonal shaped. It is hand painted with delicate pink roses and gilded flourishes. American Art and Crafts Period Rookwood Vase, a perfect compliment to your Arts and Crafts bungalow, Frank Lloyd Wright would be pleased. This is the second largest size in this mold; the vase stands 12 1/8 inches (31 cm) tall. Vases larger than 10 inches are uncommon for Rookwood. Glazed in Oxblood red with green highlights on the rim. Vase has impressed RP flame mark with VII below, and an impressed 951 B. Condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1907

Marked with the Rookwood insignia, which discloses the date, shape 775 and the incised artist initials, light overall crazing, late 19th century, Lenore Asbury for Rookwood Size: Dimensions as follows, 6" x 4.75" x 7.25. This porcelain sugar bowl with lid and cream pitcher was produced in the United States around 1900. It is signed by Osborne who was an artist at Pickard and later opened his own decorating studio.
