A pair of blue and white plates, transfer printed with the temple of Serapis in Pozzuoli – also to be seen in the well in writing. One in a series of Italian and Sicilian Views produced by the Don Pottery in Swinton, Yorkshire, c 1820. Unmarked. Diameter "10 / 25.5 cm. Condition: hairline and rim chip to one plate (cf. pics).

A pair of English Staffordshire ”Imari” plates, the decoration painted in under-glaze blue and enameled, the rims lustre-glazed. The backs with a printed mark Ironstone China. Early Victorian, c 1830-40. Mason’s was the first manufacturer to launch Ironstone ware but many others were to follow. Diameter "9¾ / 24,5 cm. Condition: some crackling to the glaze to one plate, and a small chip to the underside of the rim (cf. pics).

A rare 18th Century Liverpool porcelain teapot finely painted with Chinese style "Famille Rose" polychrome enamels...

A White Delft Sauce Boat. Of silver shape raised on three lion mask pad feet and with a lion mask handle. Covered in a thick even white glaze. Possibly German C1745/50. Length; 18.8 cm. Condition; minor wear. Exhibited in the English Ceramic Circle Exhibition 2006, No 17. As possibly Germanic in origin

This marked Dr. Wall period Worcester soft paste porcelain platter has beautiful, crisp "blue scale". It would make a fine addition to an important collection.

A pair of octagonal dessert plates by Copeland, the edges dented and gilt. Japanised, “Aesthetic” decoration of brambles or blackberries, transfer printed and hand painted with some gilt over part of the withered leaves and berries. Diameter "9/ 22.8 cm. The back with the impressed curved mark used by Copeland from 1860 to 1880, and N80, probably for November 1880. Condition: fine.

Royal Worcester small ewer posy holder with pansy decoration, porcelain, bamboo form handle, ruffled rim. Circa 1891. Size: 4.25 inches ht. Excellent condition.

Eleven(11) English Spode Copeland Porcelain Cups and Saucers, one(1) extra Saucer, Ca. 1891, 5 1/2" diameter-saucer, 2" high, 4" diameter-cup, total 23 pieces, matching set with catalog #1388686, brilliant raised gold and wide Lemon yellow border, marked "Spode Copeland's China England" in green, and impressed mark along with numbers "R 3716 2" in red on the bottom.

A pair of elaborate porcelain vases with large leaves in turquoise and gilt opening from a narrow base which rests on four wide feet. The base and feet encrusted with vegetation and occasional flowers which also support a large rising stem on either side with roses on one side and blue, orange garden flowers and possibly small lilies on the other side. Hard to imagine putting flowers that wouldn’t clash into these vases...

This porcelain covered bowl with underplate was produced in England by George Jones in the 1870s. The underplate has a diameter of 6 1/2 inches, the bowl is 4 1/2 inches high and 7 inches long across the handles. The set is marked with an impressed Jones mark. The porcelain is very fine, white bone china. The underplate is contoured so that the well is raised up to meet the bottom of the bowl. The handles on the lid and sides of the bowl are made to imitate branches...

Lovely 3-tier chintz cake stand in a unknown pattern. The bottom of each piece is marked in blue/green "B/Royal Tudor Ware/Barker Bros. L'td/England" along with a crown. The stem is brass. The whole stand is approximately 12-1/2" tall. The plates are approximately 10", 8" and 6" in diameter. Mint condition--even the gilding around the edges of the plates. Ca. 1920's.

An attractive 18th century English porcelain teabowl and saucer, made by one of the Liverpool factories. Excellent condition with no problems. The saucer is 4 3/4" in diameter, with the bowl being 3" in diameter and 1 3/4" in height.

A superb and graceful example of First Period Dr. Wall Worcester porcelain. The patterns on it are "La Peche" and "La Promenade Chinoise," both of which were done by Robert Hancock. Although Caughley did a very similar variation, this piece was definitely made by Worcester.

The slightly flared tankard is 4 5/8" tall, with a top diameter of 3" and a base diameter of 3 1/4". Looking fresh from the factory, it has no chips, cracks, glaze or paint loss, or restorations...

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Copeland in the late 19th century. The saucer is 6 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 inches high. The porcelain is fine, white bone china. The saucer is deep and the cup has a handle that sweeps up over the rim of the cup. Both pieces are trimmed with cobalt blue borders and elegant hand painted gilding. There are tendrils of hand colored flowers spilling across the interior of the cup and across the saucer...

Wedgwood between 1878 and 1890. They are 4 ½ inches high with a diameter of 9 ½ inches. The design is from the aesthetic period in Imari style. Rich gilding, rust red florals and cobalt blue trim are combined to create these elegant porcelain serving pieces. The octagonal shape is uniquely suited to the pattern of decorated panels of cream and gold. Having the opportunity to own a pair of these compotes for perfect balance on a table or breakfront is rare...

A pair of porcelain dinner plates with molded basketweave edge and swirl ribbing with the lines extending into the well. Decorated with hand painted overglaze flowers and a gilt edge. The style closely resembles Meissen, but these are unmarked. The four ribs in four groups of four is identical with a plate pictured in Godden's book on Coalport that he dates from c. 1805 to 1810. 10 inches (23.5 cm) diameter. Unmarked.
