Condition: Minor glaze chips, a small chip to the body on the underside and part of one foot missing. Good condition for the age and the softness of tin glazed earthenware.

A Dutch delft polychrome hand decorated tile made between 1620 and 1650 depicting a double handled vase containing three orange flowers that fit into the space on the tile between the large painted corners. The colors are blue, orange and green. 4 ½ inches (11.5 cm) square. ½ inch (1.5 cm) wide. Tapered sides. Glued on hanger a late addition.

Large impressive Roger Guerin vase with twisted handles. Almost 11" tall. Signed "Guerin" and marked M8. Circa 1920s. In excellent condition. One of a number of works by this artist offered on this site.

A thick tapered sided tile decorated in blue of a man in a hat swinging a colf club at a ball with the post that is the target of the game in the distance. There is no decoration in the four corners. Colf was a Dutch game that may have been the predecessor to golf. The tile is approx. 4 7/8 inches 912.5 cm) square and 3/8 inches (1.2 cm) thick.

Condition: major chip to the upper left corner, smaller chips around the edges and a number of small pock-marks in the glaze on the face of the tile...

A 13 3/8 inch (34 cm) diameter Dutch delft blue and white charger depicting a vase with a pedestal base in the center and an elaborate chinoiserie border on the outer lip. 18th century more likely earlier than later.

Condition; major chunk out of left edge replaced but discernable by discoloration of the paint over. Losses along the edge all around the dish.

A Dutch delft tile from between 1625 and 1650 showing a blue flower in the center enclosed in an oval of three blue lines. The single blossom has blue petals and a yellow center. The green leaves on a blue stem grow out of a yellow bulb on the ground. The oval with fleur-de-lis on the sides that correspond with the tile edges that are also decorated in blue with scroll work and vegetation (?). 5 inches (12.5 cm) square and slightly less than ½ inch (slightly more than 1 cm) thick...

Extremely rare dessert plate featuring transfer decoration commemorating Napoleon’s great victory in the Battle of Friedland. The center decoration is printed in color and the rim is hand colored over a black transfer of crowned “N”s encircled by laurel wreaths and military decorations, alternating with escutcheons with the Emperor’s signature hat and sword. The back of the plate is stamped with the maker’s mark for Boch Freres of La Louviere, Belgium...

An authentic and vintage Dutch Delft blue and white 9-1/4" plate. This plate has a floriate design and it has the expected blue-tinged underglaze. Five Delft polychrome wall plates in the Peacock pattern, a stylized mix of flowers and feathers very much “en vogue” in Delft of the 18th century. They all have a claw mark in under-glaze blue to the base, for De Klauw, the legendary Delft faience manufacture of the period. However, the Peacock pattern saw a renewed popularity around 1900 when these plates were probably made. Diameter "8/ 20 cm. Condition: fine.
