Large vase by Roger Guerin, circa 1920, offered in excellent condition. This vase measures 7 1/4" in height and 7" at its widest. An impressive bulbous vase with horizontal striations on the bottom 2/3 of the vessel. It is signed "Guerin" and inscribed "M 30" for form and size. Large impressive Roger Guerin vase with twisted handles. Almost 11" tall. Signed "Guerin" and marked M8. Circa 1920s. In excellent condition. One of a number of works by this artist offered on this site.

Figural majolica tobacco humidor in the form of a ball player. The piece is decorated in beautiful, rich colors under the shiny tin glaze. The base is impressed "10830II" and is also painted with the decorator's mark.

Five Delft polychrome wall plates in the Peacock pattern, a stylized mix of flowers and feathers very much “en vogue” in Delft of the 18th century. They all have a claw mark in under-glaze blue to the base, for De Klauw, the legendary Delft faience manufacture of the period. However, the Peacock pattern saw a renewed popularity around 1900 when these plates were probably made. Diameter "8/ 20 cm. Condition: fine.

Extremely rare dessert plate featuring transfer decoration commemorating Napoleon’s great victory in the Battle of Friedland. The center decoration is printed in color and the rim is hand colored over a black transfer of crowned “N”s encircled by laurel wreaths and military decorations, alternating with escutcheons with the Emperor’s signature hat and sword. The back of the plate is stamped with the maker’s mark for Boch Freres of La Louviere, Belgium...

This porcelain figural group was produced in Denmark in the late 19th century. It is 8 1/2 inches high and 6 1/2 inches wide. The fine hard paste porcelain is expertly modeled with great detail. The group portrays a Colonial couple in splendid attire. At first glance, you might think you were looking at a Meissen or Nymphenburg figural group. The couple is adorned with real porcelain lace ruffles. The lady's hat has tiny ribbons protruding from it. The detail to this piece is exquisite...

A pair of antique Dutch china wedding bowls circa 1865. This nice set of wedding bowls dates to 1865 and they were made to commemmorate the wedding of Dirk Hoogedorn to Agije Brink on April 30, 1865. These 4-3/8" diameter and 2-1/4" tall bowls we given to the guests as a remembrance of the wedding. They are finely hand-decorated with rich gilt lettering and decoration, and they are unmarked. They are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs...

Charming coffee cans, decorated with various birds in bright and lively colours, the style typical of the last years of the Amstel factory, 1809-1814. There are three cans. The saucers are from the period, but not belonging - the original saucers probably had corresponding birds in the center. Height "2 ¼ / 6.2 cm, diameter of saucers "5 ¼ / 13 cm. Condition: some wear to the gilt of the upper rim to two of the cups.

Very rare Rörstrand flintware plate around 1825. Have been in Gustaf Löfbergs famous collection of Rörstrand ceramics. Has also numberings of other collections. Rörstrand in the material.
