An authentic and vintage Dutch Delft blue and white 9-1/4" plate. This plate has a floriate design and it has the expected blue-tinged underglaze. This unsigned plate is in excellent condition with no chips, damage or repairs other than the loss of the glaze around the rim, plus some fingertip sized rim chips. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use...

Unusual tile of a seated man in a flat cap holding a fishing pole while his wife in a bonnet cap seated beside him looks at him. A charming scene. The tile has tapered sides.5 ¼ inches (13.5 cm) square. ½ inches (1.5 cm thick).

Condition; major old restoration to the upper left corner, similar restoration along the right edge in the column and other very minor chips.

I think this is a fairly rare format with the columns and arch. The figures have a certain humor and art.

This porcelain figural group was produced in Denmark in the late 19th century. It is 8 1/2 inches high and 6 1/2 inches wide. The fine hard paste porcelain is expertly modeled with great detail. The group portrays a Colonial couple in splendid attire. At first glance, you might think you were looking at a Meissen or Nymphenburg figural group. The couple is adorned with real porcelain lace ruffles. The lady's hat has tiny ribbons protruding from it. The detail to this piece is exquisite...

A fine rare Pennsylvania German folk art brides box c. 1830 in very good antique condition with all original antique paint. Old german script reads, "SCHAU ES NUR AN WIE DU WILLST EX IST DES VATERS EBENBILD". ROUGHLY TRANSLATES TO "SEE IT THE WAY YOU WANT IT IS YOUR FATHER'S LIKENESS. A scarce little blue and white faiance jug (redware), likely Dutch, 17th. century.

Condition: Choice for the early type, handle possibly reattached, some very thin hairline visible under a glass.

Provenance: The Estate of Carl-Johan Hummeltoft (1958-2020), Birkerød, Denmark. Carl-Johan was a vivid collector and among other areas, he held an impressive collection of early European pottery and metal items.

Five Delft polychrome wall plates in the Peacock pattern, a stylized mix of flowers and feathers very much “en vogue” in Delft of the 18th century. They all have a claw mark in under-glaze blue to the base, for De Klauw, the legendary Delft faience manufacture of the period. However, the Peacock pattern saw a renewed popularity around 1900 when these plates were probably made. Diameter "8/ 20 cm. Condition: fine.

Four hand painted blue and white Dutch delft tiles joined with grout on a soft board in the manner in which they would have appeared on a wall. Roughly 10 ¼ x 10 ½ inches (26 x 27 cm). Minor damage at the edges.

A 11 ½ inch (29 cm) diameter deep blue and white delft charger depicting a hanging flower basket with an elaborate border of plants, flowers and radio wave blossoms. 18th century probably right around the middle.

Condition: Some wear in the center and numerous small losses around the edges.

A hand painted Dutch delft tile from between 1625 and 1650 showing a carnation flower in the center enclosed in an oval of three blue lines. The single blossom is orange over the white ground. The green leaves on a blue stem grow out of a yellow bulb on the ground. The oval with fleur-de-lis on the sides that correspond with the tile edges that are also decorated in blue with scroll work and vegetation (?). 5 inches (12.5 cm) square and slightly less than ½ inch (slightly more than 1 cm) thick....

A Dutch delft heart shaped strainer on three short pointed feet and with attached handles at either end. Old Pat Guthman Antiques label on the base with the price of $550. 3inches (7.5 cm) tall, 5 inches (12.5 cm) wide and 7 ½ (19 cm)inches long.

Condition: Minor glaze chips, a small chip to the body on the underside and part of one foot missing. Good condition for the age and the softness of tin glazed earthenware.
