HUDSON BAY 59 x Antique Glass Trade Beads Multi Color A COLLECTION OF 59 X HUSDON BAY TRADE BEADS These very early Trade Beads are all in very good condition, as can be seen from the pictures. We believe they date from the mid 1800's but could be earlier.

This crystal vase was produced in Bohemia by Moser in the 1880s. It is 12 inches long and 9 inches high. The glass has a lead content and rings when tapped. It is hand blown and has applied glass features. It is formed in the shape of a cornucopia. The glass is dark, sea green. The entire body of the vase is covered with intricate enameled decoration. The flowers and ornamental swags in vivid raised enamels are completely done by hand. The vase is accented with profuse gilding...

A lovely antique emerald green Moser style glass perfume bottle comprised of three layers of glass (light mint green white, emerald green, clear) with gold enamel scroll work. With some minor loss to gold gilt commensurate with age and the end of the stopper is broken, this is considered to be in very good antique condition.. Measures 6.75" high, body 3" diameter, 2" diameter at foot. Czechoslovakian circa 1880.

A very good Classic Period glass paperweight with a pinchbeck design. The scene depicts the "Descent from the Cross" and shows two centurions, Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus taking the body from the cross while Mary weeps at Jesus' feet. The pinchbeck insert is finished in a silver tone rather than the more common gold. The crystal dome is of very good quality, with excellent clarity and good optical magnification to highlight the detail of the scene...

Handsome hexagonal faceted glass paperweight featuring a detailed frost intaglio of a lion pressed into the base. The New England Glass Company made several different types of intaglio paperweights, and this piece is possibly an example of the company's work.

Origin: America, ca. 1880. Condition: excellent, no chips, normal wear to base. Size: 2-7/8" diameter; 1-3/16" high.

A 19thC Bohemian red glass and enamel vase. This late Victorian era red or ruby flash 7-1/4" tall lobed vase features clear panels with acid etching with hand applied blue, orange and green enamel painting as well as traces of gold trim on the top edge. It has a rough unfinished pontil and this decorative vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs other than some wear to the upper gold trim band...

This is a large, signed Crown Milano glass jar/jardiniere made by Mt Washington. It is an exceptionally large jar: it is 10 3/4 inches wide and 8 1/4 inches high. The jar is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks or repairs (there is some expected, age-appropriate fading to the paint). It is signed in its polished pontil.

A pair of Bohemian / Czech Harrach 1880s blue gray opaline mugs with enameled floral decoration, the handles reeded and gilt. Height "3 ½ / 9 cm. Condition: fine.

Offered is this beautiful Bohemian Moser glass dish with tooled-rim. The dish is 6 inches (15 cm) wide. The dish is made on an aqua-to-clear glass blank. It has a polished pontil and is in very good condition. Though unsigned, it is guaranteed to have been made by Moser - according to Gary Baldwin, tooled rims of the type present on this dish, "to date, have only been found on Moser decorated glass" (reference: page 85 of his book, 'Moser Artistic Glass Edition Two').

A beautiful, hand painted Bohemian glass portrait vase, made probably by Moser, around 1880. The vase is 10 1/4 inches (26 cm) tall and 2 3/4 inches (7 cm) wide. It is in fine condition.

These 12 champagne tumblers were produced in Bohemia by Moser before 1890. They measure 3 ¾ inches high and have a diameter of 2 3/16 inches in diameter. The glass is hand blown with polished bottoms. They have a leaded content so that they ring. The base color of the glass is bright cranberry. Each glass is elaborately hand enameled with tiny flowers and buds you can feel. Straps of gold create cartouches containing flowers...

Antique second half of the 19th century Bohemian hand-blown clear cut-glass decanter and stopper made for the Middle Eastern, Persian and Ottoman market. Body of bulbous form with long neck applied with three faceted rings, cut with leaf-shaped panels of hobnail, leaves and diamonds, enamelled with blossom and scrolls and gold gilt, with spire stopper. Base with a ground down pontil mark.

Antique 18th -19th century Silesian or Bohemian glass 'Humpen' beaker, with the King's Augustus II monogram AR (Augustus Rex). King Augustus II, "The Strong" (in Polish - August Mocny, in German - August der Starke), was king of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania (reigned 1697-1704 and 1709-1733) and prince-elector of Saxony as Friederich August I (ruled 1694-1733)...

Offered is this beautiful, iridescent, pulled-feather bowl/vase on ornate metallic stand. Superb iridescence. Overall, it is 13 inches high and 11 1/2 inches wide; the bowl itself is 9 1/2 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches high. It is in excellent condition. Polished pontil (there is a slight 'pull' on the pontil - see picture). Unsigned - probably was made by either Loetz / Rindskopf in Bohemia.

A unusually fine example of a scrambled weight by the New England Glass Company. The weight includes latticinio twists and millefiore canes. The set-up includes a complex red, white and blue cane (visible through the concave bottom of the weight) formed of a heart silhouette surrounded by stars. The canes are tightly packed for a very nice appearance. The glass is quite clear.

Origin: America, circa 1870. Condition: very good, a few small surface nicks on the crown, no cracks...

An impressive and well-designed antique Bohemian glass paperweight. The bullet-shaped weight encloses a large central red, white and blue lily surrounded by three smaller lilies, all emanating from a speckled glass pot at the base. The area just above the pot has a thin film of green glass to suggest foliage. The weight is ornately faceted into a bullet-shape. The glass is quite heavy and clear...

Offered is this beautiful, 12-piece, coralene-enhanced glass set (6 glasses and 6 stems), made by Moser. The set is in good condition. Unsigned - almost certainly made by Moser, based on the coralene decor (please refer to Baldwin's book for similar coralene-decor Moser items).
