A pretty Victorian mercury glass vase in tapered and ribbed columnar form with a foot. The body has a matte surface decorated with a pretty bouquet of blue and white flowers. The vase has a nice small size that is not easy to find.

Origin: Bohemia, ca. 1870. Condition: excellent, a tiny area of oxidation near the base of the bouquet, no plug. Size: 6-1/8” tall.

A very good fruit bouquet paperweight by the New England Glass Company. Four pears alternate with cherries and foliage around a central pear. The lampwork fruit is particularly nice in this weight. The bouquet is presented against a spiraling double latticinio basket. The dome is high and offers nice magnification. The crystal is a bit sugary, as is typical of many NEGC weights. The concave base has a wide basal ring.

This cut overlay crystal decanter and 6 glasses was produced in Bohemia in the late 19th century. The decanter measures 15 1/2 inches tall including the stopper. The glasses are 4 1/8 inches high and the openings are 2 3/4 inches in diameter. The glass is hand blown and ruby cut to clear with frosted wheel-engraved areas. Intricate scenes of game birds in the forest encircle each piece. This set would compliment a room with a rustic hunting theme...

This stunning Victorian tomato glass basket by Boston & Sandwich Glass Company is made from two layers of cased glass, a tomato or orange-red color over yellow with an applied clear single twist thorn handle and 4 applied clear feet. An unusual feature is that top rim of the bowl folds over and is studded with large tomato hobnail bumps ending with a crimped edge which finishes with a narrow clear band. These 14 glass punch cups were produced in Bohemia by an unknown glass manufacturer in the late 19th century. They measure 3 ¾ inches high and have a diameter of 3 ¾ inches. The glass is hand blown with a leaded content so that they ring when tapped. They are hand decorated with heavy enamel paint you can feel with your fingers. The decorations of multi-colored roses is very detailed and vibrantly colored. The enameling is applied over gold foil that shows through to the inside...

A beautiful set of five green-to-clear glass vases, made by Moser around 1885. The vases have beautifully-cut art nouveau floral decor. All vases have polished pontils. The vases have been examined under black-light: there are no cracks in the vases. Alas, there are some chips in the vases (the worst two shown in the last two pictures). Each vase is 3 3/4 inches (9,5 cm) tall and 1 1/4 inches (3,2 cm) wide at base. Though unsigned, the vases are guaranteed to have been made by Moser.

A beautiful, hand-painted, diamond-quilted Bohemian wine glass. The amber-colored glass has transparent cabochons on it. The glass is 4 5/8 inches (12 cm) tall and 3 1/4 inches (8 cm) wide. It is in fine condition. It fluoresces in a gentle-green coloration - typical of late 19th century or early 20th century glass objects.

A nice example of an antique scrambled glass paperweight by the New England Glass Company. The set-up contains a colorful variety of complex canes, filigree and twists in a nicely compact grouping. There are least three complex canes with white eagle silhouettes against a field of dark purple. There are no annealing problems and few bubbles in the set-up. The glass of the dome has good color and clarity. The bottom is concave with a basal ring.

Offered is this beautiful, tall, hand-painted glass vase - though unsigned, the quality of the artwork and the numbers on its bottom, typical of English patent number (see last picture) would strongly suggest that it was made by Thomas Webb of Stourbridge, England. The vase is slightly over 13 inches (33 cm) tall. The vase is in excellent condition.

Offered is this very rare early Bohemian glass chalice. It is 6 3/8 inches (16 cm) tall and 3 3/8 inches (8,5 cm) wide at the top. Made on very heavy glass, there is superb enameling and cutting. Unsigned. The deep miter-cut star on the base of the chalice and the lavish gilding on it would strongly suggest that this chalice was made in Bohemia in the Biedermeier period (1825-1845)...

A wonderfully colored Wheeling Peachblow (AKA Coral) stick vase shown in the Hobbs, Brockunier and Co. Catalog as a #12 vase. The vase is in the glossy finish and measures 8 7/8 inches tall.

Offered is this beautiful, hand-painted, cut, cased glass (three-layer casing: white on the outside, cobalt on the inside and clear in-between) vase. It is 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) wide and 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) high. It is in excellent condition. The clear-glass pontil was left partly polished, since it is recessed (see last picture). unsigned - could have been made by either Moser, Pfohl or another Bohemian maker.

An attractive and well made hand-blown pair of early-mid Victorian stoppered glass liquor decanters. These matching 11-3/8" decanters have some hand cutting on the shoulder ribs and they retain their original blown and cut stoppers.
