A rare pale green Dutch or German roemer with a large cup bowl above a wide hollow stem flaring out to a folded foot. Immediately beneath the bowl is an applied milled collar above a section with applied strawberry prunts, below which is another collar.

This huge example is 8" tall, with a bowl diameter of 5" and a foot diameter of 4 1/2"...

A large drawn trumpet bowl leads to a double series opaque twist (dsot) stem comprised of a pair of heavy spiral threads outside of a central gauze. The bowl is engraved with a rising sun, a well-known masonic symbol. In all, this item has a wonderful and strong presence to it. Thick firing foot with a rough snapped pontil.

The glass is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, other flaws, or restoration. The height is 4 5/8", with a bowl diameter of 3" and a foot diameter of 2 3/4".

An ornate and huge Bohemian antique glass goblet of baluster form. The round funnel bowl is cut all over with hexagons, the top row of which forms round arches. The elaborately worked stem contains two flattened knops, each cut with roundels, and a truncated inverted baluster knop cut with hexagons mirroring the bowl...

A bulbous little pitcher or jug and a small mug, both north Bohemian c 1800 or somewhat earlier. The white Milchglas or Milk glass enameled in the style of Meissen or Sèvres porcelain - often in the “Famille rose” colors seen on this pitcher - was an appreciated export from Bohemia (present Czech Republic). A very tight single series opaque twist (SSOT), multi-spiral opaque twist (MSOT) glass with a round funnel bowl above a medially knopped stem. This is one of the most beautiful twists you will encounter. 5.8" tall, 2 1/8' diameter bowl, 2 3/4" diameter foot. Excellent condition.

A superb and beautiful Zwischengold wine glass with a slightly flared conical bowl with a solid base. The bowl sits atop a stem with a shoulder merise over a cushion knop, below which is an inverted baluster section above a basal knop. The bowl has a gold and red medallion pressed within 2 layers of glass...

Milchglas or lattimo snuff box, late 18th century. The sides and base with enameled decoration of flowers while on the lid an elegantly dressed little gentleman is seen taking a walk in the park, behind him a pink phantasy rock, a rocaille - all in typically Rococo style. The mounting made of bronze or brass, the upper part with engraved zigzag lines. Made in Bohemia around 1780. Width "2 ¾ / 7.3 cm, height "1 1/8 / 2.7 cm. Condition: fine.

A deep cobalt blue salt or sweetmeat, probably of German origin. The bowl has a silvered everted rim with silver leaf decoration and is above an inverted baluster stem. Rough pontil. No condition problems, and with a maximum diameter of 4" and a height of 3 1/2".

A fine double series opaque twist (DSOT) wine glass with a conical bowl leading into a stem with a central gauze surrounded by two heavy spiral threads. The bowl has molded fluting in the lower three quarters.

The glass is in very good condition with no cracks, hazing, or restoration. There is a tiny shallow chip under the foot rim, which can be discerned at around 1:30 in the last photo. There is an unimportant small inclusion in the upper section of the bowl shown in the first photo...

A pair of Milchglas / milk glass cups and saucers with flower decoration in gaudy enamels, made around 1760. Relief moulded wth ribbed and diamond-patterned sides and applied foot rims. The model is to be found in the Corning glass museum collections and elsewhere as originating from the glassworks of Flühli in Swiss Luzern. Diameter of saucers "5 ¼ / 13 cm, of cups "3 ¼/ 8 cm. Condition: one cup with old and yellowed glue repair (cf. pics).

GEORGE III c1780 6" Double Air Twist Etched Drinking Glass A GEORGE III DOUBLE TWIST ETCHED DRINKING GLASS This beautiful glass is in very good condition, measures 6" in height and dating to ca1780. The wonderful etchings are probably a later Victorian addition, as was the fashion.
