An unsigned Steuben acid cut back vase, Steuben factory shape 5145, 12 inches tall. The vase is green jade cased over alabaster in what may be a unique design. An extremely fine and rare friendship wine glass, or goblet, of Newcastle light baluster (NLB) type with its original cover, superbly engraved c1760 by Jacob Sang, the master engraver from Amsterdam. The flared round funnel bowl features a pair of clasped hands flanked by a pair of stylized cornucopiae and surmounted by a crown. Typical of Sang's work is the fine polished detail...

Offered is this pair of beautiful hand-painted vases. Made on acid-dipped frosted glass, each vase is 14 1/2 inches (37 cm) tall. Unsigned, but probably made by Mont Joye. In very good condition (the inner-rim of one vase looks chipped, but is smooth and gilded, so perhaps it occurred during fabrication - see last picture).

Unsigned, this 10" Mont Joye crystal cameo glass vase is beautifully hand enameled in a pattern of orchids over a clear "chipped ice" ground. Circa 1910

Condition: Excellent, no damage or repairs. There is slight age wear to the polished pontil base and wear to the gilded inner rim in spots, revealing the green enamel undercoat, as illustrated in the sixth photograph.

This pair of wine glasses was produced in Bohemia by Moser in the 1880s. They are 5 ¾ inches high and the diameter of the opening is 2 inches. The glasses are hand blown and have leaded content so that they ring. The glasses are hand enameled in exquisite fashion. All of the enamel is raised. Elaborate gilding fills in the spaces in between. Tiny pink roses dangle from the bottom of the bowl and down the stem. Rows of white enamel dots encircle the foot of the glasses...

A beautifully fashioned English antique firing dram glass. Most glasses of this type (opaque twist firing glasses) have an ogee or ovoid bowl, as opposed to this funnel, or conical, type. The lower half of the bowl is fluted, while the stem contains a double series opaque twist comprised of a pair of spiral threads outside of a central gauze.

Condition is excellent, with no problems at all. Good color, striations, and tooling...

A blown moulded Art Nouveau green Loetz glass vase with 'Cherry Sprig' pewter mounts, probably designed by Frederich Adler, and made by Orion Pewter, Nuremberg, Germany circa 1905. A similar vase is illustrated in "20th Century Pewter" by Paul Carter Robinson (2012) ISBN 978 1 85149 6150. Condition: there are some very small surface nicks to the glass and slight bumps to the pewter; no cracks, losses or repairs. 10cm (4 inches) high; 11cm (4.3inches) across.

A large and very fine English Victorian opalescent pink and vaseline glass epergne with 3 scalloped flutes with applied rigaree rising from a scallop edged round tray. In excellent antique condition it measures 20.5 inches high, 10" diameter of tray. Circa 1885. More photos available.

This beautiful turquoise or robin's egg blue goblet is elegant and timeless. Its tall urn shaped bowl sits atop a short stem with globular knop. There are no seams which suggests that it is hand blown. While it is unmarked it is believed to be made by the highly regarded German-French glass maker Vallerysthal & Portieux. My glass expert believes that it dates to c. 1930, although I have reason to believe that it may be earlier...

An elegant and beautiful English ratafia DSOT (double series opaque twist) glass. Ratafia glasses are quite uncommon, and this is a particularly fine example. The elongated conical bowl is has molded flutes in the lower three quarters and leads into a stem with a 14-ply spiral band outside of a pair of spiral tapes.

A striking antique wine glass with a solid base bell bowl engraved with a grape vine, leaves, and bunches of grapes. The stem has a multiple spiral air twist (MSAT) extending into the base of the bowl, and features a medial bladed collar. Conical foot with rough, snapped pontil. A rare and beautifully proportioned engraved composite plain stem/air twist drinking glass. The bell bowl, superbly engraved with scrolling flowers and vines, is above a short plain stem section leading into a multiple-spiral air twist, surmounted by an inverted baluster knop; conical foot with rough snapped pontil.

This extremely large 18th century Dutch glass goblet, which was made for the German market, has incredibly detailed engraving of a galleon ship and buildings, with the saying Het Well Vaaren Van Ons Vaaderland, which translates as Success to Our Homeland. An unsigned Lobmeyr wine glass with gold and multicolored enameling. The 8 ½ inch tall wine has a notched stem with each notch touched with gold. The cup is enameled in a very typical Lobmeyr pattern of multicolored curlicues above a band of gold enameled with blue and orange jewels. The foot is decorated to match the jewelled gold band on the cup. There is no damage.

A wonderful cut opaline glass egg-shaped perfume caddy by Baccarat. The hinged lid opens to reveal an area that would have been used to store a plain stoppered bottle of perfume. The milky white translucent glass contrasts beautifully with the rich gild bronze acanthus leaf mountings. The crystal is cut simply with vertical parallel ribs. A very fine antique Baccarat glass paperweight featuring a Type III pansy and bud. A pair of dark purple petals and three amber petals with purple stripes and spots surround a central bull's-eye cane. The design is completed with bright, finely formed leaves and a bud. The paperweight is further enhanced with a star-cut base, and most unusually, fluted facets along the perimeter. This faceting pattern is very rare in antique Baccarat weight. Early flint glass water goblet on round foot with thin stem rising to cylindrical bowl wheel etched with flowers and leaves. Excellent condition.

The goblet belonged to the collection of Lenna Gertrude Clarke Judd (1865 - 1939) who moved from New York City in 1903 to Dalton, Georgia where she became a well respected philanthropist through out the sate. We have the complete provenance from Mrs Judd down to the present.

A beautiful set of five green-to-clear glass vases, made by Moser around 1885. The vases have beautifully-cut art nouveau floral decor. All vases have polished pontils. The vases have been examined under black-light: there are no cracks in the vases. Alas, there are some chips in the vases (the worst two shown in the last two pictures). Each vase is 3 3/4 inches (9,5 cm) tall and 1 1/4 inches (3,2 cm) wide at base. Though unsigned, the vases are guaranteed to have been made by Moser.

A cranberry Moser cup and saucer enameled with gold vines, multicolored grape leaves and applied bunches of grapes. The quatrefoil cup sits nicely in the matching saucer. The cup is 2 ½ inches tall and the saucer is 5 inches in diameter. Neither piece is marked and are in great condition other than wear to the gold highlights.

A superb example of a triple knopped double series opaque twist(DSOT)antique wine glass. The bell bowl sits above a stem with a 3-ply spiral around a central gauze, and shoulder, medial, and basal knops. 6 1/8" tall, 2 3/8" bowl diameter, 2 7/8" foot diameter.

Unlike many multi-knopped opaque twists, which are poorly fashioned and on the spindly side, this glass is elegantly executed and proportioned.

A pair of beautiful crackle-glass vases, made by Bohemian master, Ludwig Moser, around 1890. The vases are decorated with superb enameling of ocean-themed motif. Each vase is 11 3/4 inches (30 cm) tall and 5 inches (12,5 cm) wide at its widest. Nice Bohemian glass paperweight featuring a concentric millefiori design. The outermost ring is composed of alternating pink and blue complex star canes. The canes are placed over a scrambled ground. The base is flat and is clearly defined. The glass is heavy and of quite good quality.

Origin: Bohemia, circa 1850. Condition: very good, a couple of moons at the top of the crown and a fleabites at the edge of the bottom. Size: 1-13/16” diameter; 1-5/16” high.

A pair of unmarked Wave Crest “Daisy” salt shakers. The flat rims of the shakers are decorted with a dainty floral pattern and the undersides of the bases are embossed “Patented June 2 1891." The shakers are perfect and are 2 ½ inches in diameter.
