This is a really nice depression glass green Bowknot 4 1/4 inch diameter berry or fruit bowl made by the Belmont Tumbler Company in the 1920s. This berry bowl can be hard to find. Save 15% today... This fabulous find is a delicate blown lead crystal cruet with a large bubble Stopper. Both the body and the stopper share the broad leaves and vines cut and etched motif. It is numbered on the bottom, 43. I don't know if someone etched this number on later or if it was part of numbering system from its maker... who knows. The handle is over-sized, applied and cut to easily manipulate this dear cruet. It is 6" high to the top of the etched stopper.

Although not marked, this art glass piece bears the styling and quality of Victorian pieces made by the Stevens and Williams Ltd of England and in the 1870s under the direction of John Northwood (son Harry Northwood was a glass maker in America). The body is an oval pill-shaped translucent light turquoise glass with an open oval top that is bordered with a scalloped ribbon crest. At each narrow end is a small applique of amber glass. A lovely pair of hyacinth vases in teal blue glass. The classic shape is slightly conical with a widely flaring rim for resting the bulb over the water. These vases are especially attractive because of their rich color. Forcing hyacinths and other bulbs to bloom indoors was something of a Victorian passion that continued well into the 20th century.

Stunning set of four enameled cocktail glasses, almost certainly by Moser. The quality of the glass is superlative. The enameled rooster motif is magnified through the thick glass of the base, so that it looks quite large from inside the bowl (it might be a bit frightening after drinking an entire martini!) The bowls are lightly paneled and are edged in a thin line of gilding.

This is above a double series opaque twist stem, comprised of an extremely wide spiral tape outside of a pair of spiral tapes. Completing the rarity of this glass are a shoulder and medial knop. The form itself is quite uncommon and when found is almost always with a pointed round funnel bowl or round funnel bowl, and of somewhat shorter height. For a glass of that type see Bickerton p. 193, fig 555. The combination of the tulip bowl and a height of 6 7/8" in this example ...

A pair of extremely large antique English drinking glasses, each with a bucket bowl on a plain stem. Glasses of this size in this form are quite uncommon, and it is very unusual to find a pair. Good color, striations, and tooling marks. Rough snapped pontil.

Their condition is excellent, with no problems whatsoever. A museum label remains on the foot of one of the glasses. The height is 8", with bowl and foot diameters of 3 3/4".

A fine Dutch dark green glass globular wine bottle from the second half of the 17th century, with the applied seal depicting the arms of Amsterdam.
