Offered is this rare cranberry-glass pillow vase, hand-decorated with a marsh scenery, made by Moser around 1900. The vase is 7 1/2 inches (19 cm) long, 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm) high and 3 1/2 inches (9 cm) wide. In good condition (expected, age-appropriate wear to gold and a small rim flea-bite - see last picture). Unsigned, but guaranteed to have been made by Moser - the scalloped feet are a hallmark of Moser pillow vases (for reference: see Baldwin's book on the Klabin Moser glass collection).

A fine antique baluster drinking glass of the type often referred to known as being "Kit-cat" glass. The form is a drawn trumpet bowl with a medial inverted baluster knop in the plain stem. The foot is folded with a rough, snapped pontil.

The height of the glass is 6 5/8", with a bowl diameter of 2 5/8" and a foot diameter of 2 7/8". The condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks, haze, or restoration.

Three perfume bottles: a green and white opaline overlay, cut and gilt bottle, an English white opaline and painted bottle and a brown clear glass bottle, cut and decorated in gilt. All three late 19th century, the first and last probably Bohemian. Height "3 ½ - 5 ¼ / 9 – 13 cm. No stoppers. Condition of all three: fine.

Beautiful open salt, finely cut in diamond, fan and rib patterns. Probably made in Sweden c 1900 by Kosta or Reijmyre glassworks. Width "3/ 7.7 cm. Condition: fine.

A unusually fine example of a scrambled weight by the New England Glass Company. The weight includes latticinio twists and millefiore canes. The set-up includes a complex red, white and blue cane (visible through the concave bottom of the weight) formed of a heart silhouette surrounded by stars. The canes are tightly packed for a very nice appearance. The glass is quite clear.

This 36 piece glass service was produced in Bohemia by the Moser Glass Decorating Studio between 1880 and 1890. It consists of 12 plates measuring 8 3/8 inches in diameter, 12 champagne goblets measuring 5 3/8 inches tall with a diameter of the bowl 4 1/4 inches and 12 wine glasses measuring 5 1/2 inches tall with a diameter of the bowl 2 3/8 inches. A fine and rare English Georgian period wine glass rinser, beautifully engraved with an armorial crest of a crowned leopard rampant. The rinser is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or other flaws. It has a wide polished pontil and is 3 7/8" tall and 4 7/8" in diameter.

Dating early 20th century is this perfect Moser crackle glass pitcher with opposing sides featuring enameled scenes of a heron in a natural setting. The crackle glass is a champagne color and the the enameling is rich and vibrant, large polished pontil is on bottom. Measures 5 1/2 inches high. A beautiful piece for the collector of Moser or crackle glass.

A very nice English Georgian wine glass with a round funnel bowl, the lower half being molded with flutes. The stem is of the double series opaque twist type (DSOT) and is comprised of a pair of multi-ply corkscrews outside of a pair of spiral threads. Conical foot with a snapped pontil.

Although not marked, this art glass piece bears the styling and quality of Victorian pieces made by the Stevens and Williams Ltd of England and in the 1870s under the direction of John Northwood (son Harry Northwood was a glass maker in America). The body is an oval pill-shaped translucent light turquoise glass with an open oval top that is bordered with a scalloped ribbon crest. At each narrow end is a small applique of amber glass. A nice English double series opaque twist (DSOT) wine glass, c 1765. This glass features a flared bucket bowl over a stem containing a 12 ply spiral band ouside of a pair of spiral tapes. The conical foot has a rough, snapped pontil.

The height is 6 1/2 inches, the bowl diameter is 2 3/4 inches, and the foot diameter is 3 1/16 inches. No repairs or condition problems.

A beautiful mercury twist wine glass with a bell bowl; conical foot with rough pontil. Extremely minor polish at a spot in the foot rim.

High Quality Bohemian cut glass goblet in blue with painted floral decoration. There is a star figure cut into the bottom. No chips. No cracks. No repairs. Height: 7 1/8 inches. Width at top: 3 1/8 inches.

Stunning 2nd Empire pink opaline glass chalice with gilt and enamel decoration. The outside surface has a matte finish except along the lip, the foot rim and the knop rim, each of which is decorated with gilt lines. The primary decoration, however, fills nearly the entire surface with built-up layers of gilding accented with black enamel. The base has a slightly concave polished pontil.

Lovely blown flint glass sugar bowl or covered comport in a panel design, the molded bell-shaped lid rising to a pointed finial. The bottom has a polished pontil. The glass is of heavy weight and good clarity.

A vintage Arts and Crafts 4-3/8" high small pitcher in genuine pigeon blood glass c1910. This pitcher features a clear applied handle, a rough pontil, and textured surfaces. The colour is a deep red/orange, and this unsigned serving piece is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use...

This is a large, signed Crown Milano glass jar/jardiniere made by Mt Washington. It is an exceptionally large jar: it is 10 3/4 inches wide and 8 1/4 inches high. The jar is in excellent condition - no chips, cracks or repairs (there is some expected, age-appropriate fading to the paint). It is signed in its polished pontil.

This glass jug was produced in Bohemia by Josephinenhutte around 1895.  It was probably decorated by Fritz Heckert.  The jug measures 8 1/2 inches tall.  The stretch type glass is hand blown with an applied handle.  It is hand decorated with raised enamels in Middle Eastern style.  It is a handsome example of Bohemian art glass. Condition:  The ring of gilding around the foot shows some wear.  It is otherwise in excellent condition. 

This gem was the product of the Gundersen-Pairpoint Company in the mid 20th century, but ended up the collection of an avid glass addict. For serious collectors, we can offer limited but very interesting provenance for this and other goblets we are selling from a socially prominent philanthropist who settled in north Georgia and died in 1939. One of the loviest cups and sauces that I've ever had, there are two of these, which are priced individually. They are each painted with gold and silver decoration and are in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The cups measure 3 1/2" tall x 3" diameter, the saucers have a diameter of 5 1/2".

This glass demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Bohemia by Moser in the 1880s. The saucer is 4” in diameter and the is cup 1 ½” high. The cobalt blue glass is hand blown and has a leaded content so that it rings. It is decorated with hand painted raised enamel in pastel colors on a gilded ground. Condition Excellent

A spectacular set of 15 hand blown crystal cordial glasses manufactured in Bohemia by Moser circa 1880, each hand cut and decorated with elaborate raised gold flowers and leaves, comprising a mixture of colors, shapes and stems. The glasses measure 4 inches high and the diameter of the openings vary between 1 1/2 inches to 1 3/4"inches. The lip and base of each piece is banded. Excellent antique condition. Minor gold loss to some of banding. Extremely delicate and a find!

Six lovely signed Tiffany salts - with ten ruffles as opposed to the usual eight. Can be sold individually or as a set of six. They measure 2 1/2" wide x 1" tall and are all in perfect original condition.

A beautiful art glass vase with an applied salamander and lava flow from the rim, made by Moser around 1885. The vase is decorated with typical art nouveau motif. Made on ribbed-glass blank, the vase has a polished pontil. The vase is approximately 10 inches (25,5 cm) tall and 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm) wide at its widest. Except for a small chip on one of the lava-contours and some roughness next to it, the vase is in fine condition...

Topaz Steuben crystal compote in a classic form by Frederick Carder. Unsigned. Excellent condition with only the very slightest surface wear in the bowl. 6" diam.; 4-1/8" tall.

24054902 A satin finish Wheeling peachblow number 13 stick vase in a lustreless finish by Hobbs, Brockunier & Co. of Wheeling, WV. The vase is 8 ½ inches tall and 3 1/4 inches in diameter. There are no imperfections.

Two Eau de Cologne scent bottles, flacons, with sterling silver lids, c 1880-1900. Of square shape, the upper parts faceted and the corners bevelled. Cut glass stopper and screw-on lid to one, the other lid not belonging. One lid with monogram engraving, the other with the traditional English design of a hand holding a dagger. The smaller bottle with a paper label saying something like "Another mist" in Russian - the name of a perfume? Height of both "3¼/ 8 cm without the lids. Condition: both ...

A large and unusual double knopped multiple spiral air twist (MSAT) wine goblet of Low Countries origin. The generous bell bowl has a highly uncommon folded rim, and a solid base with enclosed tear, beneath which is a ball knop with multiple tears. Beneath this an inverted baluster knop surmounts the stem, all with the multiple spiral air twist. The foot rim has been polished at a point on the upper and lower surface, but with no loss of width or diameter, and retains perfect presence.

This vase stands out with its beautiful cranberry color with rich jeweled honey gilding accented with white scrollwork and blue swags. The sinuous form enhances the overall elegance of its Art Nouveau inspired sensibilities.

Unmarked but clearly Bohemian in origin. We date this class to c. 1910 or earlier.

Condition is excellent with some very minor losses to the gilding

An exceptionally fine frosted goblet on an unusual conical base supporting a fluted bowl, all decorated with frosted devices including a gorgeous anthemion leaf pattern banded by egg and dart. The base has finely etched fern. This flint glass goblet is mid to late 19th C.

American amberina glass tumbler of extraordinary coloring. The slightly ribbed outer surface complements the thumbprint interior design, creating an interesting optical effect. The glass is heavy and free of defects. The bottom has a concave polished pontil. Origin: New England. Size: 3-5/16" tall. Condition: mint.

A lovely balustroid drinking glass with a flared bell bowl on a stem with an inverted baluster knop with enclosed tear. All this above a cushion basal knop surmounting a beaded knop above a domed and folded foot. Note that balustroids with teared knops are sometimes attributed to Newcastle glass houses. The bowl has a small black slag seed.

6 1/2 inches in height, with a bowl diameter of 2 1/4 inches and a foot diameter of 2 1/2 inches.

A wonderful and very rare Baccarat cut crystal perfume bottle in a simple panel cut enhanced with blue opaline “gems”. The lip of the bottle is cut in a deep petal shape. The stopper matches the décor of the bottle. Though known as “opaline” now, this type of glass was called “agate glass” when it was created at Baccarat in 1842.
