A well proportioned baluster glass featuring a trumpet bowl raised on a drawn stem with a large annular medial knop. A virtually identical glass is classified in Bickerton's "Eighteenth Century English Drinking Glasses" as a heavy baluster. Conical folded foot with a rough snapped pontil.

Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hazing, or restoration. The height is 6 1/2", with a bowl diameter of 2 5/8" and a foot diameter of 2 3/4". Ex collection of Tony Stout.

A nice example of an antique scrambled glass paperweight by the New England Glass Company. The set-up contains a colorful variety of complex canes, filigree and twists in a nicely compact grouping. There are least three complex canes with white eagle silhouettes against a field of dark purple. There are no annealing problems and few bubbles in the set-up. The glass of the dome has good color and clarity. The bottom is concave with a basal ring.

A pair of Victorian vaseline opalescent glass epergne bowls. This fine pair of blown molded bowls date to the 1880s. These 5" diameter bowls stand 2-3/4" high and their bases are 3" across (under the collar of pressed leaves). They are unmarked and they have polished bases; they are in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than a barely visible 1/16" shallow flake to a rib on the base of one bowl...

A beautiful, iridescent, signed Favrile-type glass compote made by Quezal around 1910. The compote is 5 1/4 inches wide and 5 inches high. It is in fine condition. Signed on the polished pontil.

Signed, handpainted, Moser bowl, clear to amethyst with gold decoration. Minor wear to the gold, otherwise in perfect condition. Measures 2 3/4" tall x 6 1/2" long x 2 3/4" deep.

A very unique 14 sided paperweight with an interior sculpture having a latticino base supporting stranded cage housing a green glass bubble. Its quality workmanship is accented by the beveled edges on the top and bottom. In excellent condition and unsigned. Please note that the glass is slightly yellow, due in large measure tot he yellow glass rods. Our images suggest a clearer brighter glass, but that is not the case when viewed in normal light. A 6 inch tall signed Locke Art compote in the rose pattern. The compote has a twist stem in the manner of Steuben or Libbey supporting a scalloped bowl that is 7 inches in diameter. The foot has a large polished pontil. The compote is shown on pages 40-41 of "Locke Art Glass, A Guide for Collectors."

A stunning cut double-overlay white/cranberry/clear cologne bottle, mostly likely by the New England Glass Company. The broad base is slightly footed and decorated with opaque white casing cut in a classic foral vine pattern to a transparent rose-cranberry base. The panel-cut tapered neck is enhanced with a faceted applied ring. The open-top tulip-form stopper has a long knopped neck and white/cranberry panel cutting on the petals. The concave base is polished.

A spectacularly decorated Lobmeyr goblet with a flared ogee bowl above a knop, all surmounting an inverted baluster stem with tear and panel cutting, terminating in a merise.

The bowl has beautifully executed Schwarzlot enameling depicting a hunting scene, with huntsmen, dogs, a horse, and a stag. The foot is also decorated with a stag, tree, and foliage...

A larger than average Anglo-Irish Rummer (ale glass) with "Panel & Flute" cut glass "Barrel" shape bowl and "Bladed" knop...

18th century English double cotton twist crystal wine glass. In excellent condition save for a small flea bit nick on bottom. Measures 5 1/2" high, Base 2 1/2" diameter, opening at top 1 3/4". Better photos available upon request.

Lovely panel-cut footed crystal compote, the stem with a blown teardrop. The foot is shaped to conform to the panel cutting. The crystal is top quality, with excellent weight and color. The bottom has a polished pontil.

A nicely proportioned lead wine glass, the ogee bowl with rib molding above a double series opaque twist (DSOT) stem comprised of two spiral threads around a central gauze; conical foot with rough snapped pontil. Perfect condition.

A classic Sandwich glass hyacinth vase in a rich teal shade. The vase is entirely hand blown and shows the traces of hand marvering. The deeply concave base has a rough pontil and a basal ring showing the expected wear. Hyacinth vases, sometimes called tuplip vases or bulb vases, were used to force flowering bulbs for wintertime blooms indoors. They were quite the rage and some Victorian homes had numbers of vases arrayed on windowsills. Pieces by Sandwich are uncommon...

A large ormolu mounted turquoise glass covered bowl with an ormolu (gilding gone) and an attached ormolu base (gilding in good condition). The flattened bowl decorated with gilt lines and white enamel jewels. The top with a gilt band around the outside, a ring of gilt leaves and berries, then two black transfer classical female figures on opposing sides separated by gilt and white enamel jeweled quatrefoils . 9 inches (23 cm) diameter...

Phenomenal Art Nouveau crystal shallow bowl, the bottom with intaglio engraving of a large pansy blossom. The flowers petals are beautifully handpainted in shades of burgundy and then gilt. The flower is surrounded by translucent foliage. The scalloped rim of the bowl is gilt to coordinate with the floral decoration. This piece, with its single large flower, is much more assertive than the more common small reverse-carved pieces such nappies and short compotes...

Red cut to clear Victorian scent bottle with gold tone hinged cap. Fits beautifully in a lady's hand, it measures 3.5 inches high.

A rare form of slag glass, this late 19th century example is richly marbled throughout. It rests on a round foot which rises on a stem supporting a tiered crown for the straight paneled bowl. This specimen is in outstanding condition and retains its identification tag from its original collector.
