Lovely small cut crystal decanter with faceted stopper, early 20th century American Brilliant Period. The slightly rounded shape is comprised of finely cut squares with patterned centers, hand blown faceted stopper. Size: 8.25" H x 2.75" W. Condition: Decanter is clean and sparkling with age appropriate wear. No interior cloudiness, minor flaking and chips to face of two square. One of a pair. A nice addition to any collection as a pair or on its'own.

A beautifully proportioned and executed multi-spiral air twist (MSAT) glass featuring a pan top above a stem with a swelled medial knop; 7 1/8" tall, 2.75" diameter bowl, 2.9" diameter foot; conical foot. Excellent condition.

Two bowls and a lidded box in blue opaline glass. The bowls undecorated, the box with some gilt. All three French and from the 2nd empire / Napoléon III period, c 1850’s. The blue colour is the same as the “bleu céleste” so much en vogue in Sèvres porcelain of the time. Height of larger bowl: 3 ¼”/8 cm, diameter 4 ¾”/12 cm, diameter of box "2 ¾ / 7 cm. Offered is this rare, large Gustav Stickley slag-glass lamp, made around 1906. The lamp is 30 inches tall. The shade is 15 1/4 inches wide (diagonal width: 22 inches) while the base is 9 inches wide. The burner is marked, 'B.H' (for Bradley and Hubbard). Overall, the lamp is in good condition for its age - there is a small heat-check in one of the slag-glass panels and a split to one of the wooden panels (see pictures)...

An excellent example of a firing glass, or firing dram, with a single series opaque twist (SSOT) stem and a drawn trumpet bowl; 4 1/2" tall, 2 1/8" diameter bowl, 2 1/4" diameter foot

Note: Single series opaque twist stems are less common than double series opaque twist stems (DSOT).

This is a tall French cameo glass vase made by Legras. Except for the fact that the vase was drilled for a lamp-base (it was never used as a lamp), the vase is in excellent condition. It is properly signed in cameo. The vase is 16 inches (40 cm) tall and 7 inches (17,5 cm) wide at the shoulder. Fire-polished rim and polished pontil. A similar-shaped Legras vase is shown in Blount's book, 'French Cameo Glass' (shown in second-last picture here for your convenience)...

A heavy Bristol green rummer, the stem with a nice grip, and a wine glass. Mouth blown and made around 1810, the rims softly rounded. The pontil mark of the wine glass removed by grinding, while it is still left on the rummer. Some little air bubbles, the rim of the wine glass with a mark from the tongs used to cut the bowl loose from the pontil. Height "5 ½ / 14 cm and "4 / 11 cm respectively. Condition: fine, except for a minimal scratch mark to the bowl of the rummer.

Very unusual glass paperweight from the New England Glass Company. The weight is worked in a patriotic theme with shards of red, white and blue opaque glass rods making up the scrambled design--possibly in celebration of America's centennial in 1876. The center of the setup is punctuated with a large icepick bubble--a technique I have never seen used in an American scrambled weight. There is also a rare silhouette cane of a pine tree. A fine and uncommon toastmaster's baluster type glass featuring a deceptive waisted bucket bowl above a collar. The stem has a medial swelling knop and a basal knop. A classic Sandwich glass hyacinth vase in a rich amethyst shade. The vase is entirely hand blown, shows the traces of hand marvering. The deeply concave base has a rough pontil and a basal ring showing the expected wear. Hyacinth vases, sometimes called tulip vases or bulb vases, were used to force flowering bulbs for wintertime blooms indoors. A high quality milk glass goblet paneled with 9 facets and decorated with 3D grape and leaf design, most likely Westmoreland No. 1881. Stem is also faceted, standing on round foot. The "milk" alternates between translucence and opacity. This goblet is early 20th C. and in excellent condition.

I have seen these attributed to Salviati however, on a recent trip to Venice I showed these to an antique dealer specializing in antique Venetian Glass and he showed me some documentation with images that confirms these to indeed be Fratelli Toso, made in 1890. Save 15% today... This fabulous find is a delicate blown lead crystal cruet with a large bubble Stopper. Both the body and the stopper share the broad leaves and vines cut and etched motif. It is numbered on the bottom, 43. I don't know if someone etched this number on later or if it was part of numbering system from its maker... who knows. The handle is over-sized, applied and cut to easily manipulate this dear cruet. It is 6" high to the top of the etched stopper.

Patented January 1890. What is unusual about this lamp is that it is a finger lamp, too. That is a safety feature.

Stunning set of four enameled cocktail glasses, almost certainly by Moser. The quality of the glass is superlative. The enameled rooster motif is magnified through the thick glass of the base, so that it looks quite large from inside the bowl (it might be a bit frightening after drinking an entire martini!) The bowls are lightly paneled and are edged in a thin line of gilding.

A nice Bohemian mercury tapered columnar-form mercury glass vase, the sides engraved through a bright red flashing to the silver. The pattern depicts a bird nesting among exotic flower and foliage. The design is accented with applied white lines. The silvering is not in as good condition as one would hope, but the very bright red flashing and the generous size more than makes up for it!

A very unique 14 sided paperweight with an interior sculpture having a latticino base supporting stranded cage housing a green glass bubble. Its quality workmanship is accented by the beveled edges on the top and bottom. In excellent condition and unsigned. Please note that the glass is slightly yellow, due in large measure tot he yellow glass rods. Our images suggest a clearer brighter glass, but that is not the case when viewed in normal light. Offered is this beautiful pair of vases with hand-painted decor and embedded jewels. Each vase is 7 1/2 inches (19 cm) tall and the vases are in excellent condition without chips, cracks or repairs (age-appropriate fading to the gilt, as expected) - amazingly, all the jewels are intact, in spite of the vases being over a hundred years old, showing how well they had been cared for. Unsigned - probably made by Moser or Fritz Heckert.

Pair of mid 19th century cut crystal Irish finger bowls measuring about 4 inches in diameter and 3 inches high. A rare find dating circa 1850.

This is an elegant SSOT, or single series opaque twist English antique drinking, or wine, glass. It has a drawn trumpet bowl and the stem has a beautifully fashioned enamel spiral gauze. Single series opaque twists are considerably rarer than double series twists. The conical foot has a rough, snapped pontil.

The glass has good height at 7 1/8 inches, a bowl diameter of 2 5/8 inches, and a foot diameter of 2 7/8 inches. There are no repairs or condition problems.

This crystal glass was produced in Bohemia in the late 19th century. We are not certain of the manufacturer but it is in the style of Lobmyer and Moser.
