Box in black lacquered wood inlaid with mother-of-pearl, golden details. The decor is composed of birds among plants and shrubs. The birds are very active, the one in the center tends to what appears to be a stylized egg in a nest? Probably a meaning. The designs are simple but harmonious and very elegant. The inlay work is empirical but the materials used are solide and they have stood the test of time well indeed the lacquer has not peeled off and the mother-of-pearl is still well maintained...
Excellent lacquer cocktail shaker and six matching cocktail glasses featuring gilt and painted decoration of an elegant, exotic rooster perched on a cherry tree branch. The shape of the shaker's cap is reminiscent of a pagoda.

A very nice folding corner shelf of lacquered papier-mache with metallic decoration of Chinese court scenes. One wall shows ladies riding in a rickshaw while the other shows ladies strolling in a court garden with their guardian. The scalloped edge of the shelf is decorated with a gilt edge.

made in China for the export market, this one piece ivory page turner has a dragon carved into the handle on one side. It is 7 inches long and in excellent condition.
A wonderful Victorian figural bank constructed of oak and decorated with punched and engraved brass appliqués. This is the only bank we've seen in the shape of a bank! The roof is pierced with two slots to insert coins. The bank retains the original lock, but the key is missing.

A George III Brass Banded Mahogany Serving Tray with Sculptured Handles. Dimensions; 18.75" long x 3.5" high. Circa 1800. Some wear, but in very good shape overall.
A George III Regency Period Satinwood Inlaid Mahogany Tea Caddy. Sarcophagus Form with Brass Rings on the Side and Top; the Top Ring with a Brass Fruit Basket design. It Stands on Four Brass Bun Feet, with dimensions of 11.5" wide x 5.25" deep x 6.5" high. There are Two Lidded Inserts Over the Inside Tea Compartments and a Mixing Bowl that is not believed to be original. Circa 1815, with Some Minor Inlay Missing (see pictures), otherwise in excellent condition.
Black Papier Mache wall hanger for spoon or pipe, late 1800's, 9 3/4" wide, 1 3/4" deep, 4 1/4" high, with gold leaves and red berries and floral hand painted Lacquer decoration, fluted shape with nine(9) round open holes, can be folded flat for storage with metal hinge, the condition shows some wear and tear but no major damage. Finely detailed carved ivory monkey face, c.1920's. He appears to be laughing with open mouth and measures 1 9/16" in diameter. There an open crack due to age at the top left -see photo #2. This is an elegant 19th Century Victorian ivory page turner, the handle embellished with delicately carved flowers and C scrolls. The Victorians used page turners to protect the pages of valuable books from damage; they were also used to protect the hands from newsprint. Measurement: length: 12 inches. Condition: excellent; no chips or cracks; some yellow age spots on the blade.
