The Savior enthroned with mourning The Virgin and John the Baptist in the center panel, flanked by two icons depicting The Guardian Angel and saints: Zossima and Sabbatius of Solovetskii monastery.

Monstrance (reliquary)in cast bronze and chiseled copper. Gilding quick-silver. Base weighted by lead. Disassembles into 2 parts. It has not been cleaned for a very long time, so the gilding appears orange under a layer of oxidation, smoke and dirt. The gilding is perfectly preserved. It is in excellent condition, no part missing. The roof is held to the uprights by 2 rivets, one has been replaced. The glass was replaced late. Height: 545mm...

An antique Japanese temple plaque made from one large solid block of Keyaki (Zelkova) wood. Hand carved on both sides. One side depicts ocean waves which represents polar opposite ideas of peaceful tranquility and powerful ferocity. The opposite side features Sunflowers representing warmth and longevity and Chrysanthemums symbolizing immortality.

A superb 19th century Imperial Russian wooden Easter egg with polychrome decoration of Christ arising from the tomb flanked by a pair of angels. The scene is beautifully colored and shows dynamic movement. The reverse of the egg bears the gilt letters “XB” for “Christ is Risen.” The egg is completed with its original blue silk ribbon, appropriately worn with age...

It has been crafted by hand in a beautiful baroque style using solid silver that is partially gilded. This exquisite crucifix has been made by hammering many individual elements together, chiseling and engraving them finely, and then setting them with jewels...

Russian wooden egg, lacquered in black and painted. One side with an orthodox cross and the other probably depicting St Basil’s cathedral in the Kremlin in the late 19th century. It might also show the then newly erected cathedral of the Assumption in Omsk. Height "4 / 10.5 cm. Condition: the painted decoration is flaking, as is the black lacquer (cf. pics).

Antique, Byzantine, 16th/17th-century horn cross pendant, pressed in relief, with rounded finials and a suspension loop.

The cross depicts the Holy Trinity; God the Father with Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
