A very attractive large pewter tankard of the late 17th.- early 18th. century.

The tankard stands in a beautiful baroque style with a multitude of floral engravings in the microcarving style, Probably Northern Germany, Initialized and dated 1720 in the lid by new owners. German touchmarks in the top of the handle.

Save 10% today... This wonderful antique American Brilliant Cut Glass, ABC, round console bowl is in excellent, undamaged condition. This is part of my collection from my grandmother's estate. I believe she received this from her mother, and I have had it in storage during my ownership. It looks like it was made yesterday. It is a bright oval, deep heavy blank that is decorate with intaglio cut whirling stars and broad fans with the bottom showing a large, cut, elaborate 12 pointed star...

English George III era Old Sheffield silver plated meat dome cover with robust gadrooned border and removable cast acanthus leaf-form handle. The cover is adorned with a full armorial engraved into a plaque of solid sterling silver which has been let into the cover in order to prevent any underlying copper from showing through the engraved family armorial. Circa 1810-1820. Size: 14 1/2 in. length x 10 1/2 in. depth x 8 1/2 in. ht. Sterling silver fused over copper; tinned interior.

An elegant form Chaffers Liverpool porcelain coffee can, decorated with a landscape scene, the interior rim bordered.

The can is 2 9/16" in height, and 2 3/16" in diameter. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or restoration, although the painting is blurred, but not to the extent shown in the photos.

A wonderfully patinated massive iron cannon, Spain, ca. later 16th. century.

A large and impressive cannon for the type from very old collection - the cannon measure 15,2 cm. in height and 8,7 cm. wide at the base. The weight is around 3700 grams!

Provenance: Danish Private collection of Grethe Pedersen, Ledøje, Denmark, ca. 1950-1997. Purchased at Kastella, Copenhagen Antique Dealer, 1962.

This porcelain coffee can shaped cup and saucer were produced in England by Spode in 1812. The design, number 709, is referred to as one of Spode’s “Candlelight” patterns. The Spode museum in Stoke on Trent has a tea set of this pattern on display. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and is 1 1/8 inches deep. The cup is 2 1/2 inches high. The ground color is cobalt blue. There are cartouches with brightly hand painted flowers...

An uncommon form (only one or two were part of a full service), made by Worcester in the Dr. Wall period. The design has a central rose surrounded by garlands of flowers in cartouches, all done in a soft European palette. Alternating with these cartouches are others that are pure white, making this decoration very unusual. The background of the dish is, of course, the desirable blue scale made so famous by Worcester.

A delightful sterling silver photograph frame intended to celebrate the arrival of a newborn. Designed by Lebkeucher & Co. (1896-1909), the frame is ornately decorated with storks, song birds and climbing roses. The top border has a reserve for engraving the baby’s name. The bottom border has a reserve for adding the birth date, a clock on which the time of birth can be engraved, and a scale on which the weight may be added. The frame retains its original black composition easel back...

American Georgian sterling silver sauceboat, ca 1900. Retailed by Black, Starr & Frost in New York. Bellied oval bowl with leaf-capped high-looping handle and gadrooned scalloped rim; four scroll-mounted paw supports. Fully marked including retailer’s stamp and no. 1430. Very good condition.

An elegant Georgian antique wine glass with an engraved round funnel bowl with a fluted lower half. The engraving has vines, clusters of grapes, and other fruit. The stem is a double series opaque twist (DSOT), comprised of a pair of 7-ply spiral bands outside of a multi-ply corkscrew. Conical foot with a snapped pontil.

The glass is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs...

KPM Meissen porcelain is the highest grade of Meissen. The cup and saucer are decorated in purple with gold trimming and laurel wreaths. The saucer is 7 inches in diameter and the cup is 4 inches in diameter and 3 inches in height.

Acid-etched frames depicting nursery rhymes with both old favorites like Humpty Dumpty and Little Miss Muffet as well as the more recherche Queen of Hearts and I Was a Bachelor. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and no. 8402. Very good condition with strong definition.
