A graceful stepped strap-handled pitcher of lead glass, featuring trailed threading at the rim, and engraved "RFE" with vines above ribbons, the reverse with flowering vines.

The condition is excellent, with no flaws to speak of. Good color and tooling. Snapped rough pontil. The height is 7 1/4".

This covered jar was produced in Germany by Wolfsohn Dresden before 1890. It has a diameter of 3 1/2 inches and is 2 3/4 inches high. The jar is ornately painted in Meissen or Vienna style. There is a scene with a horse and rider hand painted on the lid, which is rather unusual subject matter for Dresden painting. This reserve is surrounded with intricate gilding. The sides of the jar have panels of rose colored fish scale painting alternating with fancy gilded panels...

A lovely Chinese export porcelain plate, the center decorated with a court scene depicting nobles welcoming a visitor bearing a staff and basket of fruit. The scene is very nicely enameled in the famille rose palette. The border is decorated in a trellis pattern in green enamels—a most unusual treatment for a Mandarin plate. The inner and outer borders are highlighted with gilding.

A large deep dish with hand painted blue lines and blue hand applied stencil flowers, roses in the center and flowers (possibly peony) and foliage around the rim. Early Doccia (circa 1750) had stenciled blue flowers on both maiolica and porcelain. I suspect that those pieces or similarly decorated mid-18th century ceramics were the inspiration for this piece...

Silver stuffing spoon, 12 1/8" in length, the bowl 1 7/8" wide at the widest point, weight close to four ounces on a common postal scale, bearing the marks on the reverse of the noted mid eighteenth century London craftsman JOHN LAMPFERT, who was known to be working in silver from at least 1749. This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in the United States by Ott & Brewer Belleek in 1883. The saucer has a diameter of 5 3/8 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The porcelain is egg shell thin and highly translucent. The porcelain is molded with a shell like texture. The edges are scalloped. The finish on the set has an iridescent sheen almost like pearls. Great example of a Durand champagne glass with ruby red cup and foot joined by an ambergris stem. The cup, stem and foot are nicely ribbed and measure 6 inches tall. The cup is 4 3/8 inches in diameter and the foot is 3 1/16 inches in diameter. The foot has a rolled rim and has a small polished pontil mark. This example is pristine.
