Very rare, dating circa 1820, American cut lead crystal wash basin and water pitcher set. Possibly by Bakewell Glass of Pittsburgh, the set is in excellent condition. The bowl measures 7.5" high x 16.25 diameter. The pitcher measures 12.5 inches high. Both in excellent condition.

18K gold chased ring in the form of a buckle. Buckle rings were popular in Victorian England as the Queen wore her order of the garter on her finger. The maker of the ring was William Bullock (WB is the maker's mark). The ring is a US size 6 and .38 inches wide and weighs 6.4 grams. It should not be sized or you will destroy the chased and engraved wide gold band.

Beautifully miniature hand painted rectangular signet ring of the tree of life. The tree of life has its origins in both Judaism and Christianity, it is mentioned in the Book of Genesis, and symbolizes connection to the larger world, the earth and the sky. This ring is 17x 11.4mm and sits about 3.6 mm off the finger. It is 5/8 long and almost ½ inch wide. The size is 6.25 US. The Weight is 3.0 Grams.

Circa 1830 from Pennsylvania, this pieced cotton quilt features the North Star pattern. All hand stitched, it has strong geometric shapes. Colors are red, white and various purples. A little worn around the edges, color is still good, considered to be in very good condition commensurate with age. Coverlet fits over a double bed. From the estate of Mike Biggers.

Amazing pair of antique black forest carved wall sconces. Hand carved heavy walnut with incredible intricacy. Birds, leaves and scalloping. 14" tall, 8" deep. Couple missing pieces, but very complete. Excellent condition for age and detail.

Extremely rare antique, 16th century Renaissance Period part of the European Knight armour (Arm Harness Vambrace). The armour is extremely well made in typical European style, composed of five steel plates engraved with tulips flowers springing from leafy tufts...

Nineteenth century classic folk art, an American weathervane of a galloping horse, dimensions 28" by 15" by 3", with contemporary birch wood block mount for display. The piece was acquired in Connecticut. Weather vanes are not my specialty. I know that there are recognized makers (Harris?) but cannot attribute this to any particular source. The piece had bullet holes that have been fixed and smoothed over, so, work has been done to this...

This marvelous piece of ancient pottery is an offering vessel, sometimes referred to as a "spirit jar", from roughly the Five Dynasties period (907-960 AD) of Classic Imperial China. These intriguing vessels first appeared to Western collectors around the turn of the century and were quite a delightful find. Appearing in the ruins of a long forgotten monastery near Kunming, hundreds of these jars were discovered in many several sites in Yunnan...

This exceptional teapot is from the Staffordshire region of England from the very early 19th century, reasonably dated c. 1800 and attributed to the New Hall factory. It is a porcelain production imitating the very popular Chinese wares coming into the European market, and attempting to convince consumers that it was of the same quality. These pieces often depict domestic scenes but are frequently scenes from theater or novels...

A late 18thC Qing Dynasty Canton enamel bowl. This high quality bowl has original gilding and it dates to circa 1770 - 1800. This lobed quatrefoil shaped bowl measures 7-3/4" x 6-1/4" and it is 3-1/8" in height. The enamelling is particularly fine, done to the Chinese taste. The rim of the bowl retains much of its original gilding. The interior is a pale blue enamel, the bottom is speckled white. The upper rim has a Greek key design border...

The Jacob Petit factory at Fontainebleau produced these porcelain cornucopia vases Century 1840. The lavish cornucopias are mounted on rectangular bases decorated with rocaille and gilded swags and vines; the corners are finished with swans. The horn is molded, painted with flowers in reserve on each side. The rim is a rococo staple of undulating flourishes, decorated in gold in the upper interior. The base has a peach wash; the horn in a robin's egg blue palette...

An Impressive Tortoise Shell Gilt Bronze Mounted with Boulle Inlay Inkstand with Double Inkwells. Figures, in bronze, are at each corner leg (possibly gods, see picture). Dimensions; 9.5" long x 6.5" deep x 3.5" high. French, circa 1860. In very good condition.

A Britannia Standard (used from 1697-1720 and 95.84% silver, versus sterling at 92.5%) Sterling Mug, from London, 1719. Makers marks indistinct. Dimensions; 3.5" high. Very good condition.

An uncommon and fine Chaffers saucer and teabowl in the "Two Men on an Island" pattern. A workman's mark of three dots is on the reverse on the saucer.

This finely potted blue and while porcelain is in superb condition, with no chips, cracks, staining, or restoration. Any apparent paint losses in the photos are due to reflections. The saucer is 4 7/8" in diameter and the cup has a 2 3/4" diameter at the rim and is 1 1/2" tall.

These porcelain soup cups and saucers were produced in France by Haviland & Co. Limoges between 1888 and 1896. They were produced especially for the high end retailer Davis, Collamore & Co. of New York. The saucers have a diameter of 5 ½ inches. The cups are 2 ¼ inches high, the opening diameter is 3 2/4 inches and they are 5 ½ inches from handle to handle. The cups have a scalloped pedestal base, are quatrefoil in shape and have molded texture to the porcelain...

An Unusual George II Silver Tripod Base Chamberstick by John Cafe and Hallmarked in London, 1755. Dimensions; 3.5" high x 6.75" diameter; weight, 10.5 Troy ounces. Excellent condition. Note that the hallmarks are rubbed, but can be made out.

A very early Bow porcelain coffee cup with the "Cross-Legged Chinaman" pattern. Adding to the rarity of this cup, in addition to its age, is the crabstock handle.
