This porcelain chocolate pot was produced in the US by Willets Belleek in the 1880s. This is a factory decorated piece. The pot measures 9 3/4” high and is 5 1/2” from handle to spout. The handle is shaped like a dragon that wraps around the pot. The body of the pot has a creamy ivory hue. It is hand painted with two colored gold. Some of it is shiny and some of it is matte finish. Georgian ring of green paste in a basket setting flanked by two clear pastes on each side. Paste is colored or clear glass, often lead or flint, cut in the same fashion as gemstones and used as a substitute especially while traveling. Antique paste jewelry was valued on its own merits and not as an imitation of another piece of jewelry. This Georgian 15K gold, green paste ring is a size 7 1/2 and can be sized. It measures 1/4" at its widest.

A pair of porcelain dinner plates with molded basketweave edge and swirl ribbing with the lines extending into the well. Decorated with hand painted overglaze flowers and a gilt edge. The style closely resembles Meissen, but these are unmarked. The four ribs in four groups of four is identical with a plate pictured in Godden's book on Coalport that he dates from c. 1805 to 1810. 10 inches (23.5 cm) diameter. Unmarked.

Condition: No hairlines or repairs...

Rare Georgian "Dear-Regard" ring set in 15K gold. The center motif of a flower is set with a "R"uby, "E"merald, "G"arnet, "A"methyst", "R"uby, and "D"iamond, the first letters of the stones spelling "Regard". The groups of stones on the cusps of the band are set with a "D"iamond, "E"merald, "Amethyst", and "R"uby, the first letters of the stones spelling "Dear". Historically the rings given as a token of love were either "Dearest" or "Regard". This ring is a combination of both sentiments.

These 6 porcelain tea cups and saucers were produced in Germany by Meissen around 1890. The saucers are 5 ¼” in diameter and ¾” deep. The cups are 1 ¾” high and 3 ¼” In diameter. The porcelain is molded in high relief. Intricate gilding highlights the raised designs. There are reserves with hand painted flowers of vivid colors and fine detail. Tiny insects can be found among the flowers. The handle and rims are trimmed with gold...

A William Ridgway “Oriental” green transfer printed platter with a vaguely Middle Eastern fantasy scene in the well surrounded by a border of alternating floral bouquets and Middle Eastern buildings against a sprigged green ground. On the back the Ridgway mark of an urn and beehive over the subject name, “ORIENTAL.” and the initials, “WR.” printed in green. The initials for William Ridgway were used from 1830 to 1834...

These 8 porcelain chocolate cups and saucer were produced in France at Sevres around 1810. The saucers have a diameter of 4 7/8 “ and are 1 ½” deep. The cup are 2 7/8” high,without the handle, and have a diameter of 3 1/8”. Each cup has a hand painted portrait of a famous French woman, named on the bottom. They have tooled gold frames and lacy gold accents around the edges...

Exquisite Georgian rock crystal riviere set in silver with a 15k gold mount and an open back. Rock Crystal is transparent quartz often seen in fine antique jewelry. A silver form porcelain teapot with the vented knop on the lid and the pattern number, “N 195” in red enamel on the base. This pattern is known as the “knitting wool” pattern. 5 ¾ (14.6 cm) inches tall, 9 3/8 inches (23.8 cm) across the handle and spout.

Condition: excellent. A tiny rough spot on the lip of the spout might be a tiny glaze chip or it could be a very small firing loss.

I think this form is one of the most pleasing for late 18th century teapots.

A Dutch delft polychrome hand decorated tile made between 1620 and 1650 depicting a double handled vase containing three orange flowers that fit into the space on the tile between the large painted corners. The colors are blue, orange and green. 4 ½ inches (11.5 cm) square. ½ inch (1.5 cm) wide. Tapered sides. Glued on hanger a late addition.
