A rare pair of Rambervillers Ceramique stoneware vases with characteristic thick metallic lustre glaze and mounted on fitted gilt bronze stands. These items were probably made shorly after the establishment of the Rambervillers pottery, circa 1905-1910, and bear the incised signature of its founder Alphonse Cytere. We love the simplicity of this claw set amethyst single cabochon stone ring, made somewhere around the turn of the century or later. The ring is hallmarked 15K and has 3 decorative notches cut on both sides of the band. The single cabochon amethyst stone is a smooth and polished clear shade of purple and perfect. Notice the ring stands high on the hand. The ring is open backed and can be worn everyday and hand washing will not disturb it. US Size 8.5 but it can be resized.

Antique 9K gold Victorian "message" ring, "Mizpah, symbolizing a bond between two people, comes from a bible quote in the book of Genesis, "The Lord watch between thee and me, when we are absent one from another". Mizpah is the Hebrew word for "Watchtower", a pillar of stones which symbolized the covenant between Jacob and Laban. Mizpah rings were often exchanged between two people in the hope of protecting the two during a period of separation, often by war.

These beautifully crafted Egyptian revival cufflinks of sterling silver scarab beetles are the creation of Herman and Eugene Unger, German immigrants who settled in Newark, NJ and were a part of the immensely creative Art Nouveau period at the turn of the nineteenth century. A rare pair of apple green glazed candle holders designed by William Howson Taylor and made at the Ruskin Pottery works in Smethwick, near Birmingham, West Midlands, UK. Both candlesticks have an impressed 1908 datemark to the base. Condition: excellent - no damages and no repairs. 16cm (6.3 inches) high; 11.5cm (4.5 inches) diameter at the base.

Striking early Edwardian 18K gold ring of a man in a turban set with diamonds. The ring dates to 1900 . The ring has a French hallmark in the shape of a pineapple and a makers mark "JD". It is a size 8 and measures 3/4" at its widest.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Austria by Franz Dorfl between 1884 and 1902. The cup is artist signed. The shape of the set is triangular and quite unusual. The ground color is deep cobalt blue. The front of the cup has a reserve containing a hand painted scene. A classical woman is taking Cupid's bow and arrows from him. It is a spirited contest. The scene is framed with an elaborate raised gold cartouche. The gilding extends around the sides of the cup...

The ring is set with the gemstones "a jour", or "open to the day", meaning the ring can be worn for hand washing and is appropriate for everyday wear. The stones are polished and clear. The ring measures US 7 ½.

French Limoges Porcelain Fluted large three(3) divided section deep Serving Dish with heavily gilded wide handle and gilded scalloped edge rim by GDA(Gerard Dufraisseix & Abbot), 4" high include handle, 12 3/4" wide across, sprigs of floral decoration inside the three(3) Shell shape deep serving bowls to help serving different kind of food or dips, supported by high foot bottom. Marked "GDA" "France" on the bottom. the condition is good.

A fine hand painted and gold trimmed Dresden factory painted porcelain lidded jam or marmalade pot by Donath & Co. c1900. This 5-1/2" tall serving piece features different floral scenes on each panel between the footed columns and on the lid; it is marked with DRESDEN with the crown mark for Donath & Co. (1893-1916), and it has a gold rose painted over the Thomas maker's name. It also has the retailer's stamp for Ryrie Bros. Ltd. of Toronto (who were bought out by Birks in the 1920s)...

Interestingly, it shows the kind of marker used to indicate the design where the cloisonné metal straps were to be soldered onto the base.
