HM 1905 18K Diamond Knot Ring. Antique 18K and diamond-studded lover's knot ring hallmarked for Birmingham, 1905. Lover's knots were a Victorian motif that continued in popularity through WWI. Our lover's knot ring has three old mine cut diamonds embedded securely within incised stars set in gold squares. The figural knot can be seen on the underside of the ring and is as beautiful as the front. The ring can be sized and is a US size 9.

We love the simplicity of this claw set amethyst single cabochon stone ring, made somewhere around the turn of the century or later. The ring is hallmarked 15K and has 3 decorative notches cut on both sides of the band. The single cabochon amethyst stone is a smooth and polished clear shade of purple and perfect. Sterling silver 62 inch hand forged watch chain with an unusual S shaped spiral link that mimics the neoclassical ornamental ironwork designs of the 19th century. The hand forged links are repeated all around the chain. This chain is completely made up of these neoclassical style links. It has a round bolt clip from which you can add a pendant. It can be worn with a suit or a tee shirt and will look terrific with either.

This porcelain charger or plate was produced in Saxony around 1900. It has a manufacturer’s mark we are not familiar with. The plate measures 10 3/4 inches. The border is hand painted with alternating blue and cream colored squares. The cream colored squares contain hand painted baskets of flowers, framed in raised gold and topped off with a gold heart. This porcelain butterfly was produced in Thuringia, Germany by the Schwarza-Saalbahn factory around 1900. Similar porcelain objects have been produced by Karl Ens of Volkstedt. The butterfly is 6 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches high. It is made of hard paste porcelain and is decorated with brightly colored high glazed enamels. There is raised enamel beading and gilded accents. This set of 6 porcelain soup cups and saucers was produced in the US by Willets Belleek between 1885 and 1909. The porcelain and the decoration originated from the factory. The saucers have a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and the cups are 2 inches high and 5 inches across the handles. The porcelain is egg-shell thin with a molded pattern similar to ones you might find on Irish Belleek porcelain. Porcelain hand painted figure of a musician playing a lute(?). The original by Bustelli was modeled in the mid-18th century. This is a later copy, after 1887 when the factory was taken over by Albert Baumi and the old models revived. Nymphenburg shield and the numbers 59 and 0 impressed on the underside. 4 5/8 inches (11.7 cm) tall and 5 3/8 inches (13.5 cm) across the base.

Condition: undamaged except for three of the four tuning pegs and part of the red bow on his left shoe missing.

Pretty late Victorian porcelain child's cup. One side has a polychrome transfer image of a playful dog, while the other shows another dog with a blue ribbon around his neck. The rim and handle are decorated with gilt bands. Porcelain cups such as these were prized by Victorian children. The bottom is marked "Germany".

The blossoms are worked in shades of cream, yellow, rose and violet, while the foliage is stained a reddish-purple and highlighted with complex lacy gilding. The upper rim is decorated with a band of stained and gilt flowers, as well. The vase is blown in pillar form with an optic paneled design. The workmanship is very fine. A lovely art glass cabinet vase with cameo decoration in the “Thistle” pattern by Daum. The glass has elegant mottled coloring with dark peach and amber. The rim and foot are enhanced with gilt edging. The bottom of the base is signed in gilt script and bears the cross of Lorraine. This example is finely carved and makes very nice use of the layers of color.
